I am always delighted to stay at the Courtyard Copley Square and prefer it to any other Marriott property in Boston. It is well kept, the staff are friendly, and the location is superior. I feel very secure , even staying alone, as anyone who enters must pass by the front desk and there aren't hordes of people milling around.

This hotel is in the perfect location to navigate through Boston. Steps away from excellent restaurants and shopping. This is not your typical Courtyard. Located in a historical building with reminders all around of what once stood at 88 Exeter is a great touch. Bernardo is a hands on manager, making me feel special every time I visit. The staff... Really great location, with tons of places to visit, eat, shop, all around. Also super close to Back Bay station for easy connection to Amtrak (NY Penn and other destinations) as well as other T stations. Only a couple hundred yards from Boston Marathon finish, so the very best place for recovery if you are a runner, or viewing the... More

Marriott Courtyard at 88 Exeter in Boston is a great location. Close to the subway, a high end grocery store across the street (YUM), and wonderful pubs and restaraunts nearby. And close to work! Staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful - especially Justin (thanks for help with printing, computers, and refreshments). Fitness room small but guests all were friendly and... More

We had an amazing time. Lobby and breakfast area are very up to date with quality finishes. Place is very clean. Room was wonderful. Great location in the center of Back Bay. Our second time staying at the hotel. Staff was very attentive. We really loved the hotel again.

I stayed here for several days and I really enjoyed it. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the room was beautiful and clean. I also think the location of this hotel is perfect. You are super close to the best restaurants and sightseeing. Prices are very reasonable if you keep in mind that all the hotels around charge... More

The entire staff treat us like FAMILY. From the front desk greeting to the care given by the car attendants, everyone communicates with us in a warm professional manner. Immediately after checking in, I was addressed by name and I knew I was in the right place!

I stay often to visit family in Boston and this is always my go to hotel because of the great people. Everyone at the desk remembers my name and that's really something special. Diane, Laura, and Nina always go the extra mile to make my stay even better. Jason and Roldye in the restaurant know my coffee order each morning,... More

Stayed for a night in the Courtyard while attending conference at Hynes Convention Center recently. I stayed at the hotel on my previous visits to Boston and every time I was impressed by the high level of service & convenience for the price. I did not change a tradition and had no regrets. My room and common spaces were impeccably... More

Just a short walk from the Copley Square Metro station this hotel is in an historic building that has been refurbished as a Courtyard. When I arrived the young lady at the checkin desk was friendly and very welcoming. She helped me with local restaurant recommendations and followed up the next day to see how I liked the places she... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
