Just 1 block from Copley Square, and 1 block from Newbury Street, there's plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel. The thumping music and nightclub decor on the lobby level cater to a younger crowd, but upstairs the rooms are well-appointed and clean....More
Location and price are probable unbeatable. Room decore was old, the draws where stiff and noisy. Some staff members where wonderful, others lacking interested and a little bit to much interest in talking with coworkers.... Our room view was a brickwall....
Breakfast was really good,...More
This hotel absolutely met my expectations during my trip to Boston. The staff members were friendly and helpful, the room clean, and the location extremely convenient. I appreciated large windows in my room, as well as the modern decor. This is not a luxury experience,...More
Small boutique hotel offers excellent value in a high priced neighborhood. Rooms are reasonably sized, with premium sound systems. Continental breakfast is included. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a decent, inexpensive Thai place next door, and for a splurge, Morton's...More
Had a wonderful stay at the Charlesmarks hotel. The price was reasonable and I was close to where I had to go.

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

What's so "premium" about it? I got a room on an upper level with a window facing a brick wall. It was quiet, but even facing the brick wall, there was limited light. It was one of their least expensive rooms, maybe because it was so small....but it was still pretty quiet.

We stayed there last October. Took the Back Bay Logan Express which is bus transport and operated by the city from the airport to Copley Square which is where the hotel is located. Great, inexpensive way to get to the hotel; only $5 per person. The subway system is great to get around town but to get to the cruise port, we took a cab. Not very expensive. You would have to take the subway and bus to get to the port from the hotel. Great little boutique hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. We got to the hotel before check in time and they took our luggage so we could go sight seeing and it was in our room when we returned.
