Fantastic stay at the Whitney Hotel! We stayed for one evening the night of our wedding and had excellent service with an upgraded room and complementary champagne. Had lunch at the hotel restaurant which has indoor dining for hotel guests only and the meal was delicious. Great/attentive service from the concierge and staff. Hotel has a unique, boutique-style design and is located in a quaint neighborhood near the Common with many stores and places to shop. Only thing of note is that the breakfast served in the restaurant before 10 am is really just light snacks and pastries. However there are many delicious places within walking distance! We will definitely be back.
This is a small hotel but very high end. Located in the Beacon hill area and surrounded by old buildings and cobble stone walks. The hospitality is superb especially in light of the covid situation. protocols are in evidence and applied but don't get in the way in any annoying manner. The rooms are cleaned, sanitized and sealed after every guest but don't expect your room to be serviced normally. If you require it then you must request it and it is done in a non-contact manner. It was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in and one of the most comfortable. The in-house restaurant was a surprise. The menu was rather limited but everything on it was excellent. I especially enjoyed the blackened fish and the shrimp and grits. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. This hotel is highly recommended if you are staying in that area.…
Wow, what a weekend! We were in town for our daughter's elopement ceremony and The Whitney was the perfect location for us to stay. The Whitney is an elegant, beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and convenient hotel - best in the city in my opinion. Working with Kim on logistics before and during our stay was a pleasure. She was so supportive of everything we wanted to do. She had excellent suggestions and recommendations on places around town to further enhance our Beacon Hill experience. She helped make our stay and weekend memorable. Ryan, at the front desk took care of our every need while we were at the hotel. He and the other front desk staff were always friendly, easy to speak with and always willing to help. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, they are bright with very high ceilings and plenty of room for everything we needed for our weekend stay. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants making it easy to get out and about. The Whitney is a first class hotel, top rated staff and exceptional service - you've got to stay there when you are in Boston.…
We missed celebrating our anniversary and stayed close to home due to Covid. Agnes Hayes gave us confidence in the Covid protocols and arranged a lovely stay that felt like a vacation. The Whitney was immaculate with great attention to details. The room had a variety of comfortable pillows, great artwork and peaceful decor. The Beacon Hill neighborhood was quaint for a walk for coffee at Tatte and a quick purchase of a forgotten item at Covet. Ryan and Frank at the front reception were incredibly helpful with dinner plans, arranging private usage of the fitness room and helping to make our quick stay feel like a much longer restorative break.
Staff was extremely hospitable. Hotel is immaculate and just CLEAN. Rooms are great. We did not want to get out of that bed!! Excellent waterfall shower. Nice amenities. Location is perfect, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Highly recommend! Thank you Marina and the wonderful staff.
