HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The W never fails to disappoint. Modern facility, great bar, attentive service and a great location. Far less stuffy than the Ritz or 4 Seasons, and the bar is friendly (though crowded at times). The new gym is a vast improvement over the old one (which was the major downside of the hotel in the past). The only downside (or...

Hi JMJ45, I'm very happy to hear you were able to enjoy our newly renovated FIT fitness center. We're thrilled with the way it turned out. Our W Lounge is definitely a hot spot on the weekends, with a more relaxed vibe on weekdays. We hope you'll join us again soon. Cheers! Gurki Singh GM, W Boston

A wonderful hotel in every way. A little noisy in the streets after hours but I can't blame the hotel for that. Would definitely come back. Everything from check in to breakfast in the morning on check out, was fabulous!

The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy a weekend in Boston. Right across from the Wang Theatre the location allowed us to see two shows on a Saturday night and be back in our luxurious room within moments. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. You can walk to so many great restaurants and so many tourist sights within...

Very modern and upscale hotel. Was worth it to splurge a little bit and you are in the middle of going to downtown, south Boston or Fenway! Would stay here again without a doubt as the rooms are quite spacious, has a gym and all the other amenities you would want.

As a business traveler, I’ve been staying in hotels for a number of years now and the W Hotel in Boston has offered fantastic service during all my stays. I am a very clean person and my experiences in these rooms have been very good as the rooms are always organized, clean, and it’s hard for me to find anything...

Context: I was attending a series of professional events on behalf of my firm's London office. I have stayed at several leading hotels and was expecting a similar level of service from the W but was appalled at recurring errors and was very frustrated by my overall experience. Several of my colleagues who also stayed at your hotel received poor...

Got upgraded to a very nice, very large room. The view was decent but not spectacular (there's not a whole bunch to see in the area). Temporary gym works well but is not amazing (I believe they are updating a better one).

We had to stay one night in Boston where we came to visit some universities. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel in theatre district. Everything in the room was well planned except the room scent. Although it was nice , it can be irritable for asthma problems.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
