Hello Jeanie,
I think you will definitely find the Green Turtle suitable for 14 days in September 2017. We are in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard. The USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" is a short walk away as well as part of the Freedom trail. As previously mentioned the ferry is on pier 3 and we are on pier 8. There is also a free shuttle bus at the end of our street that takes you to North Station(less than a mile) which is a stop on our transportation system and brings you very close to the North End "Little Italy".
After you are out sightseeing for the day, you can enjoy your evening watching the harbor traffic while sitting on your comfy chairs on the dock! There are numerous dining choices here in the Navy Yard.
We hope to see you in September of 2017
Sincerely,
Karen and Jon

There is parking right at the marina. The owner will meet you in the lot with a little cart for your luggage and take you to the B&B. You need a keyfob to get into the dock area. Very safe. You will get your own keyfob with your keys so you can come and go during your stay. I believe the lot parking was $20 for 24 hours.
