Good stay I a low budget hotel. Selected it caused by reasonable price , short distance to the airport and walking distance to the Hard Rock Cafe. Clean room, strong wifi complementary. No breakfast. Was lucky to find a free parking space. The elevator is slow, receptions friendly and attentive. Recommended also for a couple of days .

We stayed from Saturday to Sunday, for Pax East weekend. March 11-12. Room 307. Two adults, two teens. We were happy with our room. It was clean, the beds very comfortable, everything we needed was in the room, everything was set up nice. The front desk staff were nice and professional and very helpful. We are going back to Boston...

This hotel was satisfactory. It's a basic hotel, clean, in quiet historic Charlestown Naval Yard on the Boston Downtown Waterfront and the price is right. Within walking distance is The Flagship Wharf -- pretty area with parks, playgrounds, Massachusetts Korean War Veterans Memorial, USS Constitution, Freedom Trail to name a few. The appliances worked in the room. There were maintenance...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights while we visited Boston This hotel is a budget hotel very close to downtown Boston. North station is an enjoyable 16 minutes walk. Also the surrounding area offers some great restaurants like Style Cafe and Brewers Fork. We werent in the rooms much other than to sleep and recharge, however we...

Huge clean room, two very comfortable double beds, huge private bathroom, TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee-making facilities in the room, free fast-working wi-fi. Location is nice, very peaceful, safe and quiet neiborghood but not right in the city center (~ 30-35 minutes walk), far from the nearest metro station (20 minutes walk) as well, TD Garden is 20 minutes walk...

Hotel is old with ok rooms. Some of the rooms seem to be rented to long term residents. Stayed in a room on the second floor which is directly above the YMCA. From about 6:30am to 10pm it sounds like someone is constantly dropping weights. If you don't plan to sleep during those hours or don't mind the sound or...

Don't expect anything more than mediocre for your stay. Even for a nightly rate of $179, the services are sub-par at best. Upon check in, the "person" responsible for entering Orbitz.com reservations did not update the system. Luckily, there was availability for me when I arrived. (Yes, check-in was prolonged because all of the same information had to be re-entered...

My wife and I were lucky enough to be able to get to a hockey game in February of this year and as we were looking for places to stay while in Boston we discovered the constitution inn was advertising a moderately priced room so we took advantage. One word: Deplorable. We paid way too much and the room was awful. The window screen was worthless, the shower knob was broken, the drawers were broken, there was rust and dust everywhere, there were multiple items plugged into one outlet, and the refrigerator was dirty when we walked into the room. I have pictures. I am contemplating further action...

Staying in Charlestown

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlestown
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
