The location/building was beautiful. It satisfied our need; however, was slightly disappointed in the apartment. Basement apartment, cool but needed to be fixed. Heat floor covers in bedroom NOT SECURED AT ALL and the toilet clogged easily. It serve the purpose of sleeping but wish it were nicer in appearance.

Sorry your apartment didn't live up to our location this time. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, but our rooms should be far more than just satisfactory -- I'll be sure to take a closer look at our heating and plumbing, and I hope you'll give us another chance to impress you the next time you visit Boston. Sincerely, Christian...

Our room at the Copley House was within walking distance of many of the things we wanted to take in. Fenway, the Prudential, Duckboat tours, the "T" and more. The room itself was wonderful and the price was right.

Great accommodations, There were 3 of us and there was plenty of space (queen bed and pull out sofa).. Two short blocks to the Prudential Center and the T made getting around town easy. Very safe neighborhood. Updated kitchen and bathroom. There was no on-site parking available when we arrived (very limited spaces for the hotel), but the staff was...

If your plans take you to the Prudential Center area in Boston the location is great! Our particular unit had a small kitchen, living area, bathroom, and small bedroom. It worked well for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 small kids). The kids slept on the pull out couch. The air conditioner did not cool the whole place well...

Glad the location was convenient for you! I am sorry to hear that parking was not available when you checked in. Unfortunately we only have limited spaces available and we can only make them available on a first-come, first-served basis. And I am sorry to hear that the air conditioner kept you from completely enjoying your apartment. This should have...

Really enjoyed the brownstone apartment overlooking the park. Simply furnished, but with everything we needed. On the plus side the location was excellent, on the negative side, hauling up a 50 pound suitcase up a flight of steep stairs not too good. If you have any mobility issues this is not the accommodation for you. Otherwise a comfortable stay in...

Glad you loved the classic Boston experience, Kim! I'm a little biased, naturally, but I really believe staying in a brownstone is the best way to absorb the Back Bay flavor (sorry about the stairs, by the way, but I hope the view made up for it). Thanks so much for checking in with us -- I hope you'll visit...

If you just wanna a comfortable place to stay, without care about big and named hotels, it's a perfect place. It's located at Back bay, 5 minutes walking to the subway, with a small but comfortable room. Good bed, good shower, minibar, cooker, microwave, very well equipped. It's like a house, not a hotel, give u the feeling you are...

You said it, Rafael -- we're much more like a home than a hotel, and I'm very glad you appreciated the difference. It's wonderful that you enjoyed such a comfortable stay (stairs aside), and I hope you'll join us again the next time you're in Boston! Sincerely, Christian - General Manager

Great location if you are looking to stay in a quiet authentic old Boston neighborhood. Great Back Bay area Close to subway, shopping, restaurants and walking distance to Fenway Park. Our room was very basic and a bit of a climb up 3 sets of stairs so not for everyone. It says it can accomodate up to 4 people but...

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was very well placed near subway stations and the Prudential mall. We also had a kitchenette, but ended up never using it. I recommend the 'Five Horses Tavern' for a good burger nearby. I would stay here again!

Thanks for the recommendation! There are plenty of good places to eat in our neighborhood, so it's always nice to narrow the options down -- of course, I hope you have the chance to use our kitchenette next time, too. Either way, I can't thank you enough for your kind words, and I look forward to seeing you in Boston...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
