I stayed at the Fort Hill Inn (building two, apartment two) for four nights. Terry, the owner, was responsive and helpful in all interactions. The apartment was clean, updated and provided ample space for two people. Because the unit is located on a private street, it’s quiet, though our upstairs neighbors weren’t particularly considerate and our stay was noisy, especially...

Thank You soo much for your very nice review and comments! We love to hear from our guests so we can always improve. Very sorry for the noise you experienced I am very sensitive to this, the buildings are solidly constructed unlike a hotel with thick walls and floors, but occasionally this happens. We have taken steps to improve with...

Wonderful charm! A lot of work went into this apartment in a row house in Roxbury. So convenient to everything via the T. It didn't take us long to learn the system either. My wife and I traveled with our 14 year old granddaughter as she is fascinated with the Revolutionary War, but we also took a ferry to P-Town,...

My wife, 4-year old, and I loved our stay at the Fort Hill Inn. Not only was it at an amazing price and a 4-minute walk from a T-line - but it was so quaint, beautiful, and peaceful. The 2-bedroom apartment was cozy and with so much character! My son wanted to spend the day IN DOORS! My wife loved...

We stayed in Boston for four nights. After spending days looking at hotels, I stumbled upon the Fort Hill Inn. After contacting the owner, Terry, I booked our stay. It is very affordable. Our room was on the third floor with a private bath. Terry had thought of everything. This home was built in the 1800's and the interior allows...

After lots of research and asking around, we decided on the Fort Hill Inn. It is not for everyone but it is for the adventurous who are willing to put a little effort into their trip. We stayed here for the price (and because it was close to a T stop). We paid at least half of what it would...

My son and I spent 4 days on a food trip to Boston camped out at Fort Hill Inn. What a great facility! We saved a ton by taking public transportation everywhere, and Fort Hill is only blocks from the metro station. The apartment itself was a 1 bedroom with pull-out couch in the living room, and the kitchen/dining room...

This is a beautiful period hotel/Inn. The rooms are quaint and decorated in the time period of the building. Narrow stairs, multiple rooms, right out of an 18th century film or novel. Located within easy walking distance of the T and local sights. Our daughter arranged the stay for us, and it was delightful. I am looking forward to returning...

My friend and I stayed at the Fort Hill Inn for four nights in mid August. We were thrilled with it! It was an immaculate one-room apartment three blocks from the Roxbury Crossing subway station. It's a lovely, historic terrace house on a small, very quiet street. The apartment had a fully appointed kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel...

Loved staying here. Such a nice place and felt much more at home than a hotel room. Would definitely stay here again. There was soft music playing when we entered and it was clean. Also there was a binder of information for guests that was very informative in what we should do.
