We had a duplex suite. Nicely appointed and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities. Facilities at the hotel are also very good. Staff professional and friendly. Easily walking distance to many attractions.

Really nice hotel, very well situated for exploring Boston. Room was excellent, as was the service. Only very minor issue was the service in the lobby bar was poor, but I suspect that was a one-off. Overall, a very good hotel for a reasonable price.

Attended a large reunion event in September. Everything at the hotel was first rate. Service is impeccable, gracious without being 'snooty'... food service wonderful (terrific coffee in dining). "Cafe" on first floor provides flexible meal options when 'in between.' We were on 8th floor and didn't have a noise issue or any problems getting an elevator.

May I first say that everything about the hotel was very pleasant apart from the nightime noise. However, for me the sleep quality is the most important factor. The hotel appears to be used as a wedding venue on fridays and saturdays, leaving my third floor room throbbing until 2am. I suspect this may not be an issue for weektime...

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are disappointed that you were disturbed by noise from a wedding. We do our best to assign only wedding guests to areas where there might be higher noise levels and we failed in your case. If you would like to contact the hotel and let us know which room you were in,...

This spring we visited The Langham in Chicago and were so impressed we knew we wanted to stay at a Langham hotel when visiting Boston. Many things were similar but being measured up to the Langham in Chicago is tough. However we had a great time in Boston and the hotel was very good. It is an older established hotel...

As a native Bostonian I have often admired the Langham Hotel but have never had the opportunity to visit or stay until the recent wedding of my nephew in late August. It was a delightful experience! I had booked two rooms, one for my son and his wife and baby, and one for my husband and myself. Upon arrival on...

My wife and I stayed at The Langham for 3 nights, in a suite which incorporated an open plan living, dining and bedroom. The suite was spacious and very well equipped, and we had an altogether wonderful stay for our first trip to Boston. Service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
