The hotel is all you expect and more in a luxury hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They met our every need. Rooms are like home - spacious and extremely well-appointed. Beds are extremely comfortable. Close to great restaurants and if you are in Boston for the Marathon the hotel is close to every venue and only a...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I stayed here with a relative while visiting the city for a family event. I was temporarily disabled with a broken ankle and had to get around on a scooter. The hotel was great about helping me with that. We used their car service a lot, which was expensive but terrific. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with a deluxe...

This is a special hotel. Beautiful decor and lighting. The spa is a gem and possibly the best kept secret in Boston! The rooms are enormous and the bathroom is as large as my bedroom at home. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Service is very fast. Location is pretty nice too!

The hotel is well located for business and completely orientated towards the business traveller. The drop off point and lobby is a bit impersonal, that said there is a beautiful painting and chandelier in the lobby to hide what is upstairs. The rooms are clean, really tired and purely have the business man in mind. The interior of the rooms...

In Boston and area often for business, events and visiting Board School child nearby. Great location for walking to shopping, restaurants, Fenway, etc. Always feel welcome and great service. Can count on clean and comfortable rooms and baths. Only advice is for them to work with Bar Boulud to upgrade breakfast - and other - service and food. Has not...

You cant go wrong with the Mandarin. Beautiful hotel Abd great staff. Rooms are large and comfortable. Super convenient if you want to do shopping as the back door leads to the massive mall. Two comments for improvement: 1. Have a rowing machine in the gym! 2. Bring a solution for all the blue lights that are left on during...

Nice hotel, service quality is high. They try to make guests comfortable. Like the idea of welcome tea, many luxury hotels in Asia offer that, very nice touch. I love the little leather dish on the nightstand to hold watch or earrings. Great touch, very handy. Areas for improvement - the espresso machine was not cleaned, there is an used...

Great location, elegant decor, spacious room with a view of Boylston Street and good quality room service made this a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Restaurant l'Espalier is also excellent and is connected to the property. Understated but attentive hospitality among the staff. Highly recommended.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
