Just completed a stay with family at the Fairmont Copley. Stayed on Fairmont Gold club level. Fantastic service by the concierge group especially Emily while we were there and Alison before we arrived in arranging for our "to-do" items. I'm pretty picky about service and I've never had better. Hotel location was perfect, halfway between Fenway and the Freedom Trail...

The room was nice, but as most expensive hotels go, nothing is included. I ended up paying $700+ a night and still had to pay for a cup of coffee and internet. I don't understand why premium hotels don't include these services, instead they have their hand out. They do have a 'hotel dog' you can walk on request, pretty...

We recently held our summer meeting at The Fairmont and it's five star rooms, service and food. Location could not be better for walking Boston and the staff always had great suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area. It is THE place to stay when you are visiting this wonderful city. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a great location for being in Boston. It's a good area that had access to two "T" Stations within a block of the hotel. There are plenty of shops with Copley Place and restaurants. However, you could easily take a walk and never think twice about exploring through Boston on foot. The price is something to expect...

We booked last minute for business efforts during a crowded time in Boston. We booked the lowest room category. After being impressed by the truly gorgeous and sumptuous lobby, I was actually rather disappointed in my closet of room, which was on the first floor overlooking the interior courtyard/roof, with an eye level view of the air conditioner. The lower...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
