An excellent hotel. Clean, well kept, well managed. Overall a good stay. Checkin: Quick and easy. The front desk was well staffed and our room was prepared and ready in advance of checkin. Room: Absolutely as expected. Well kept, impeccably cleaned. Location: Very central. We were in town for a convention at the Hynes Centre and both that and the...

Strong marks on all fronts, including location which is excellent. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, from bell staff to front counter to cafe. Bea on the front counter went out of her way to help me quickly print a document - these kinds of things are what make me use a hotel repeatedly. Room was clean and comfortable. The only...

You get what you expect in a Hyatt hotel at a very reasonable price. Great location to walk everywhere in Boston. Good tips about restaurants and tourist information at reception (the one at ground floor).

Comfortable, reasonable, good bed. Elevators require a change from Street level to rooms. Rooms were quiet. Heater was quiet. Very business focussed. Would not likely bring my family there. Convenient to the middle of town.

Every employee I met was both courteous and professional. As a Platinum/Discoverist member I received an upgrade to a corner room with a nice view of downtown Boston on a high floor. The location is convenient and the room were well-maintained.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
