This place had all the charm that bigger impersonal hotels lack. Right in the heart of the city on fun Newbury Street. Came with my 91 year old mom and she was very comfortable and delighted. I hesitated to write a review because I want...More
One of my favorite cities to walk and this is the perfect location to start from. The Newbury Guest House is right in the heart of Boston with everything from Fenway Park to Shopping to Historical treasures are all within walking distance. And the hotel...More
Perfect location! Newbury Street is a really nice area, and numerous good restaurants and shops are up and down the street. We loved being able to walk to dinner! We also were close to Copley Square and catching the T (subway) was so convenient and...More

The Newbury guest house in Newbury Street is a very comfortable and friendly hotel. There is a tasty and substantial complimentary breakfast which is served in the restaurant on the ground floor - also worth a visit for a meal. We booked a king size...More
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Parking is available at a rate of $20.00 per night. We are a fairly quiet hotel and we typically host an older demographic; however, that's not to say that our hotel is not kid-friendly. Loud children may bother other guests, but we trust that you will respect our relaxing, quiet atmosphere as best you can.
I hope this answered your question.
