The hotel was very pleasant. Staff didn't seem to know how to address a few small problems. Overall, a good stay, and nice to be able to self-park, but the location wasn't great for Cambridge or Boston.

We decided to make last-minute plans to go to Boston for New Year's Eve. I looked at many options, and chose Double Tree Suites for several reasons. Price was a big factor, but I typically travel with my adult son and Double Tree offers 1 bedroom suites. That works best for us because our sleep schedules are very different. We...

Easy walk to Harvard Square and Cambridge. Best price I found for a suite so my son had a separate area...even with the $40 for parking added in. Not a great location if you are doing up the tourist areas as it is a distance from there....but for our purposes it was great. Only used the shuttle once because it...

the hotel rooms were really comfortable and the location and view simply mesmerizing. window view of People jogging along the river encouraged me so much that I went for a jog all days I was there. Pool is slightly small and sauna is something you expect when paying such price..

The only reason I can't give it an excellent rating involves a few areas that need improvement. First the good: contrary to other reviews, the hotel is easy to find and easy to pull into. All rooms have been finished renovating and are beautiful. Great selection on carpet and finishes! Note: Instead of a sofa bed as might be indicated...

The hotel has a slight prison feel on the inside. Also parking is $40 per night. Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. But for the cost I'd find another place to stay. The elevators are neat. However the reminance of a party were left on the walls of our room. Tape, streamers and such.

Concon, Thank you for the honest feedback, will absolutely follow up on the tape! ...on the parking side , it is $40 for overnight parking, with that the hotel has unlimited usage on parking and also we offer complimentary transportation to Boston and Harvard. looking at other offerings in the area we are really very competitive in this area. My wife and two daughters ages 16 and 13 rented a suite that had two rooms connected by a bathroom between. It overlooked the river and Cambridge. We saw rowers on the river every morning. The rooms were large and the girls had a murphy bed (one that pulls down out of the wall,) And they had an "L" shaped...

Great location, friendly staff. Short cab ride to Boston University. We were able to use other transportation while we were there after checking out. They allow you until 5 pm to leave your car, which was helpful but expensive!!

Did not follow my profile and forgot about gold benefits. I requested high floor and there was no attempt or acknowledgement of staff. Don't get room 325 as wifi does not reach this room. I requested assistance through front desk and got nothing.

We only stayed here because friends were being accommodated at the hotel by Harvard University. Eye watering prices for room, food, parking etc, and it frankly ruined our stay when we realised we could have opted for the Marriott across the river and saved ourselves 200 dollars a day
