Stayed here for one night while attending an event across the street at the Westin. We got a great rate through hotwire. We even got an upgrade to a larger room with a king bed and a good sized bathroom, which was great. Hotel itself is very nice, service was very good, and there is good coffee in the lobby...

Greetings Sbharr - Thank you for your visiting us and for writing this review. I'm pleased to see that we able to upgrade you on this occasion. Our lobby coffee is incredibly popular and were glad you were able to enjoy some. We regret the noise disturbances that affected your rest on the morning of check out and we will...

We were in Boston for a wedding and had a free night to burn in Boston, booked a room through groupon for Copley. Perfect location, we walked wherever we needed. Rooms have been recently updated so everything was very comfy and modern. Staff was friendly upon arrival and departure. Although rooms are pretty small they are very quiet. We stayed...

This hotel was quaint but also offered a bar/restaurants/wonderful service/and a great vibe. The rooms are small, but I suspect this is the case for most rooms in the city. Everyone was incredibly helpful and the bar and restaurant were good! It's walking distance to the T (their train). Would stay here again.

We have no problem paying 4-5 star hotel prices when it is worth it. In case of this hotel it wasn’t! For over 400 USD per night one can expect to be able to order a cup of tea or coffee in the afternoon for example, but here they only can serve hot drinks when the kitchen opens after 5PM....

Y69Y - Thank you for your review of our hotel. We accept your constructive criticism as we take our guests feedback extremely seriously. It is true that some of the rooms in our historic building are modernly compact however we do have a variety of room types to choose from that have larger square footage particularly for those guests whom...

I have stayed at a few of the large chain hotels in the Copley Square area and whilst they are nice, they are somewhat faceless. When traveling alone for business I much prefer somewhere a little more personal and the Copley Square certainly delivers. The building itself is old but beautifully decorated. It has the feel of a European hotel...

jemccudden, Thank you for visiting the Copley Square Hotel. As a historic boutique hotel in competition with many of the larger chain hotels we certainly value the opinion that we offer a more intimate experience. We pride ourselves on being unique and that the service we provide exceeds the expectation of so many. Please come and see us again soon....

Stayed here for a long weekend recently with my dh. Lovely old hotel that has successfully been updated while maintaining its classical elegance. Gorgeous decor without being stuffy, wonderful, friendly staff, swanky modern lobby with good coffee and wine tastings in the afternoons! Our room was beautiful if not a bit tight, but bedding and other amenities made it all...

The staff at Copley Square Hotel are fantastic. Especially Ana at the front desk; just little things, like the second time she saw me, without hesitation, she called me by name. All the staff were also happy to please. The room was a good size, a good size bathroom and the bed very comfortable. I had a problem with the...

I arrived very late at this hotel and left very early so unfortunately I can only comment on the staff, lobby and room. For starters, it makes a great impression the minute you walk in. Kudos to the bellhop and front desk staff for their gracious welcome. Lobby is beautiful. As far as the room, I must agree with the...

I recommend this hotel as long as you are not claustrophobic. The Back Bay location is central, the staff was friendly/helpful and the bed was one of the best I've slept in. Great Location! You can actually get to this hotel from the airport for less than $3.00. It takes about 30 minutes but it's better than $35.00 taxi/cab or car service. Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
