We knew we were getting a cosy room and it was just that , small but it had everything we needed . It was clean and modern and central . The concierge lady had good knowledge , however the restaurants she recommended were not so good.

I was in Boston for a few days on a solo trip and a couple of days were spent at the Park Plaza. It's a lovely hotel with a lively bar and lobby area. The breakfast was good (if a little pricy) but there is enough choice to select from. As other reviewers have said the location is excellent! Slap...

Pros: location, bar and restaurant Cons: small, city-sized rooms and bathrooms. The noise in the hallways was a problem -- really not the hotel's fault -- but the guestroom doors have very tight springs (makes the doors feel heavy) and a few of our neighbors thought nothing of letting them slam shut at all hours of the night.

Stayed here for business, had a lovely room on 12th floor. The hotel is renovated top to bottom. Every aspect has been refreshed and it is a beautiful property. My room was a standard size with a desk and has the outlets built in, great for work! Wifi was dependable in the room and the meeting spaces as well. All...

The Park Plaza is located in the heart of the BackBay District in Boston in the heart of the city. The lobby is gorgeous and the staff are friendly. While the renovations appear to have completed, it would seem that the hotel spent a bulk of their money on the lobby and not the rooms. The walls truly are paper...

The hotel is convenient to many interesting things in Back Bay. The Boston Commons is just across the street to start your walking tour of the Freedom Trail. Restaurants and shopping options are numerous and are but a short walk or Uber ride. The hotel conference space was outstanding, but the meals were average. Our room was small, but reasonably...

Boston Park Hotel is fine for a short stay, business trip, etc. The hotel is large and very 'polished' looking in the lobby. The rooms are just basic and the bathroom was quite small. It was clean and well situated within the city of Boston.

Expedia gave me VIP deal to stay this hotel for very good price. We stayed here for three nights . It's located at downtown Boston , nearby good restaurants and shopping stores and the train. Oh ! And it's not far away from the park . Overall , it's a nice location ! However, the room is really small ,...

Location: Great location near shopping, Boston Common, Copley Square, and only $4/5 uber pool everywhere. Check in: The line was long but it moved fairly fast. The front desk was courtesy and friendly. Rooms: The room is very small and there was really not much room to put your luggage and we only had carry ons. We had to step...

We just returned from two (2) wonderful days stay at Boston Park Plaza Hotel. The location is very convenient to downtown attractions and only a block from the Green Line subway (T) named Arlington. The Concierge crew is a tremendous asset to the Hotel, Particularly Roger. Roger knows everything about Boston. Where to go, when to go, how best to...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
