This is a large and busy hotel, but very well operated and clean just like most Marriott hotels. The location is excellent. Prudential Center is right across the street and Fenway Park is an easy 15 - 20 minute walk. Parking is at a premium in Boston but here's a tip: when you pull in to the entrance it looks...

Stayed here on a Saturday night with a friend. We had no problems having them store our bags before check-in and after check-out. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a good size, comfortable and clean. You can't beat the location:The hotel is practically in Copley Place with a covered bridge over Huntington Ave. that will take you...

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is centrally located and convenient to almost all Boston attractions. The subway is close by, there are numerous restaurants in the area and adjacent malls, there is a grocery across the street; and most amenities that you would expect to find in a large hotel such as concierge services, luggage...

First time in Boston! We stayed in the Back Bay area on the advice of friends. The hotel was nice, rooms were standard and clean and the pool was a bonus. The location was amazing. All amenities and shopping close by, including a supermarket across the road which was nice for beer, fresh fruit for breakfast, a quick sandwich for...

It is the location of this hotel that makes it a fantastic hotel. It provides easy access to the Prudential Centre, Copley Place, a 5 minute walk to Newbury Street and about a 20 minute walk to Quincy Market. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious with the high level rooms having great views no matter the side of the...

Stayed with a group of friends on a recent trip and had a good experience. The location is a great area of the city--walkable to the river and all tourist sites. Also would be great for business, I imagine, as it's attached to the convention center complex & mall. We found it to be very convenient on a rainy afternoon!...

This hotel is situated in the city centre with easy access to the major sightseeing attractions of Boston. The hotel is usually busy and the wait for an elevator can be long even though there are many. Champions Restaurant and Starbucks are on the second floor. Also on the second floor is a Fed Ex office which doubles as the...

Perfect Boston location. Steps from Newbury Street, the Copley (Green Line) T-stop, Prudential and Copley Shops, Boylston Street, and so much more! The staff at the front desk was great and we had a no-hassle check-in. Also they informed us that we could print our boarding passes right in the lobby which was a breeze. The room was modern and...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
