I was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of the hotel, rooms, and dining. My room had a nice view of the city, was of ample size, and was clean and well equipped. The food prices overall are high (and I am saying this coming directly from Paris), but they are everywhere within walking distance of the hotel and convention...

Great hotel - clean, friendly service. Great location within walking distance from many restaurants & shopping. Easy walk to the Public Garden in Boston. Perfect hotel for a conference with many conference rooms, but also numerous cozy seating areas for chatting with colleagues & friends. I would definitely stay there for a vacation as well as business.

Pros: beautiful property with great restaurant, rooms, and pleasant and helpful staff. Food and beverages served at the conference was delicious and well presented. Clean up was quick and efficient. The hotel creates an expectation of excellence. Because it is apparent the bar is high, I couldn't give 5 stars for the following reason: As directed, I left my breakfast...

This is one of the best hotels in Boston. It is centrally located. The rooms are quite large and well appointed. It has a gym and pool and easy access to a wide range of places to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of light for reading.

We stayed at this hotel after attending the Boston Pops Swing Concert. The hotel was perfect location for our dinner plans, evening plans and later night fun. A delightful place to stay and quite lovely. Breakfast in the morning was a delight and well stocked. The only hassle was the check in as it seemed the whole city was in...

We went to Boston to celebrate my wife's birthday and stayed at the Marriott. First, we booked through thier website and since we are rewards memberd, the price was fantastic. Prior to arrival I spoke with the concierge, Jim, who helped get everything organized for our arrival and make it special. He took care of champange and strawberries for our...

A hotel with good rooms with ok accommodations but hotel is struggling to operate correctly. On the positive, probably the most efficient elevator system anywhere as you set your floor on the pad and it directs you to one of about 10 elevators. Unfortunately, that makes the hotel less secure as anyone can get from the street to your hotel...

Came to Boston for the weekend with my boyfriend, and we loved this hotel! Really great location, just a few blocks away from Newbury Street, and theres also shopping in the hotel. Quick Uber rides from the hotel to any location in Boston. HOWEVER, be prepared to spend approx $50 a day for parking at this hotel. If you plan...

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and really like the location, the amenities as well as the the way the team seems very engaged in their work and in helping guests. Overall the rooms are fairly standard Marriott look and feel. In good condition with comfortable beds.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
