The Lion and the Rose puts a weekend in Asheville over the top. From delicious morning meals, to awe-inspiring rooms, this B&B has it all. Lisa was so kind to point us in the right direction regarding any question we had; whether it was restaurants, shopping, views, you name it! I'd highly recommend this B&B if you want to be...

We stayed in the 3rd floor suite, which was just lovely. A little balcony was the perfect place to enjoy the afternoon and read. Lisa was a fabulous hostess - showed us around the common areas and then showed us all about our room. Breakfast was incredible both mornings! We had an amazing asparagus and egg "appetizer" on day one...

This beautiful home proved to be the perfect place for our 3-night visit to Asheville to celebrate my husband's birthday. The bedroom was a gorgeous combination of old-world charm mixed with modern comforts. Lisa, the innkeeper, has a background in restaurant/catering and it really shows in her breakfast presentations! Beautiful to look at and yummy to eat. Since we're also...

My family gathered this weekend to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary at the Lion and the Rose B&B. We had a wonderful time. Lisa was so helpful in helping us plan a weekend that celebrated this important milestone. From his and her desserts to setting up a 50th anniversary table scape, Lisa was willing and happy to help. Breakfasts were...

From the beginning of our trip until the end, Lisa was amazing! Our rooms were beautifully decorated and the whole atmosphere felt like a dream. I have celiacs disease, so eating at B&B's usually a headache but I was given DELICIOUS food every meal and they even provided snacks in the snack kitchen that were gluten free. I would come...

Extremely cosy and welcoming. Great location close to downtown. Delicious breakfast made each morning. The rooms have such charm. The innkeeper truly takes pride in the B&B and it shows in the best way. Excellent weekend overall part in due to the Inn.

From the friendly welcome to the farewells everything was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every home cooked breakfast and coffee waiting at my door in the morning. It is walking distance to everything. No need to drive unless you plan to explore outside of downtown. I found this B&B by reading reviews on Trip Advisor so I thought I'd pay it...

Lisa and Madelyn provide a welcoming environment in this superb B&B. The Marion Hall room is well-suited with plenty of space: a ultra-comfortable queen-sized bed, a day bed, gas fireplace and an updated walk-in shower, too. Close to downtown Asheville in a desirable area, the inn is a perfect location for a romantic getaway. The innkeepers prepare a scrumptious breakfast....

The Innkeeper was excellent. Very welcoming and pleasant. The breakfasts were excellent. The rooms are small and the bathrooms smaller; but nicely decorated. The TVs are tiny and difficult to operate (we never could get the DVR to work. Most B&Bs where we have stayed in Asheville seem to have a Happy Hour, but not here. Great location and wonderful...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review. We enjoyed hosting you very much. You did book our smallest room, which is also our least expensive. FYI in case you may consider booking here again: All of our other rooms have more floor space and larger bathrooms. And we do not have DVR in each guest room but...

I just got back from a 2 night/3day "girl trip" to The Lion and the Rose. Oh my, what a wonderful time we had. The innkeeper treated us like queens and could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. Most importantly the in is beautiful and comfortable. Can't wait to go back
