Let's start with the fact that the home is beautifully maintained on the exterior and wonderfully decorated and maintained on the interior. Add the fact that our host insisted that he would carry the bags upstairs. Our room was good sized with a closet, tastefully decorated and had an excellent bathroom ensuite (all in a historic home). Breakfasts were both...

We rented the detached cottage for our honeymoon, and it was perfect! We were away from the main house slightly, but still got fresh towels, our bed turned down, and a little sweet treat every day! Susan and James were a delight to work with. We needed an early check in on the day of our wedding, and they accommodated...

Susan met us as we drove up and she made us feel instantly welcome. She showed us around and then took us to our room. Lovely! We stayed for two nights and loved being able to come back to the B&B after a day of wedding planning in Asheville. The wine and hors d'oeuvres each evening were especially nice since...

Jim is a delightful and informative host, and Susan a great cook. Together, they offer a fabulous breakfast to start each day and a glass of wine with more yummy treats to begin each evening. Cleanliness is a top priority, and the rooms are comfortable. I appreciated that the house is finely appointed, yet uncluttered as so many B&B's seem...

I stayed at this B&B back in October, 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The home is beautiful and furnished with lovely furnishings that give it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and clearly made with fresh ingredients. If their room rates haven't gone up too much since my stay, I would definitely come...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in November. James was very helpful with things to do and how to get around. Susan is an excellent cook and breakfast and gourmet appetizers in the evenings were all great. They serve Biltmore wine in the evening with the appetizers. There were also delicious cookies, pumpkin blondies and pecan pie cupcakes. This...

James greeted us as soon as we pulled up! He showed us the rooms which were clean, beautiful and great sizes ! My room and my own fireplace. My friend's room had her own fireplace as well. We arrived just in time for a variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks. James provided us with many options of restaurants and...

We recently had the pleasure of staying here for three nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Susan is a marvelous and inventive cook, and the breakfasts here were delicious and innovative, with brilliant combinations of ingredients. Beautiful Inn. Tastefully decorated. Comfy bed. My favorite thing about the Inn though was the 5:30 hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The host and hostess were very kind and informative. Asheville is a wonderful town and this Inn is a perfect place to stay, near the heart of it all!
