A Bed of Roses was a quaint Bed and Breakfast located in the Montford Historic district just outside of downtown Asheville. The hosts Bill and Emily are warm and welcoming along with their cats. Although the rose bushes were bare, the potential for a yard full of blooming roses was obvious. We stayed in the Revell Room, it was very...

I read the reviews before we booked. I think the thing that hooked me was Emily's responses to the negative reviews. Honestly, I think the people who gave low reviews must have just been in a bad mood or something. Emily and Bill are just the sweetest, and they treat you like you're family that's coming in town to visit....

My boyfriend and I wanted a get away to asheville so we decided to change it up this time and we chose a bed and breakfast. This was a great stay!! Emily and Bill were fantastic hosts in their cute house!! The rooms were extremely enjoyable and relaxing (Carolyn Grey room). The breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! This is a beautiful historic building thats well located yet out of town (walk to town is possible - we did it!) in a quiet suburban location. Our room was a little tight with all our luggage, but very comfortable. Breakfasts are an event to be experienced, Emily and Bill clearly pride themselves on delivering this as memorable, and it...

This Victorian house is over 100 years old and is in excellent condition. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with spar tubs and showers. They offer a tasty gourmet breakfast. It has a great location within a 15 to 20 minute walk to downtown Asheville. The Innkeepers are very knowledgeable and helpful with lots of brochures. I highly recommend this B&B and...

After spending a couple of bustling weeks in Asheville on business, I decided to end my stay at this charming (and incredibly reasonably priced) B&B. Many hotels and B&Bs in Asheville inflate their prices on weekends in October, taking advantage of the high tourist season. Not Emily & Bill. I felt instantly at home. Check in was a breeze. I...

My husband and I loved visiting Asheville and were so happy we stayed at this lovely B&B. The room was clean, comfortable and the home is centrally located to the downtown area but feels like you are miles away. Emily and Bill are perfect hosts, they provided us with any needed information, and a special thanks for the wine glasses...

This was our first time in Asheville and instead of booking at a large hotel we wanted to get the true feel of the city. I chose A Bed of Roses B & B based on previous reviews and location. We arrived a couple of hours prior to check in however Emily was more than gracious to let me utilize...

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Asheville and we cannot stop talking about our amazing experience at this B&B. Bill and Emily were amazing hosts from the moment we walked in the door. Emily gave us a map of the area as well as suggestions on where to eat and what to do, and the inn...

We stayed at A Bed of Roses B&B toward the end our our 25th anniversary trip, and it couldn't possibly have been a better experience. The home itself is amazing, and is lovingly preserved and enhanced by Emily and Bill, who have the unique ability to be there when you need them, and to become somehow invisible when you are...

That is so sweet of you to write! I had to laugh, reading that we know when to get lost! Just instinct I guess. We hope you're able to make it back to Asheville soon.
