A great home base for exploring downtown Asheville! Quiet, clean, private. Friendly staff. Was able to find free parking right on the street, which was lovely. I would stay here again if I'm ever back in Asheville!

I can't begin to tell you what a perfect gem this Hostel and house is! It is so convenient to downtown and I mean 1/2 a block to block away. BJ is so helpful!!! He gives you all kinds of tips to the city from music venues, to food. Super helpful. I actually stayed in another house 2 doors down....

We stayed in the tiny house for 3 nights in January. It was a great little spot, perfect for a couple and close to downtown. The employee who showed us around was very friendly and had good tips (yahhhh burial brewing company) It was great to have a mini fridge and a private entrance. We didn't feel too cramped at...

This was my second time staying at this hostel and it definitely won't be my last. If you're just looking for a cheap place to crash and don't care about amenities, etc., this place is perfect. My friends and I came for a 'beercation' both times and were easily able to walk to all the nearby Downtown breweries. The staff...

There's nothing about this hostel that would make me want to come back, but if you're in Asheville and need a cheap place to crash, this will meet your needs. The location is good, walkable to downtown, the place is adequately clean, the staff is responsive and helpful, and it's quiet and safe. But it's totally lacking in charm (think...

We both visited Asheville for the first time in September 2016 for the Brewgrass Festival. We chose to stay in this hostel because the location is PERFECT. We were able to walk to tons of restaurants, breweries, and live music venues with the closest ones being only one block away. The location was very clean, both our room and the...

Our first trip to Asheville was amazing, thanks greatly in part to our stay at Asheville Hostel! The cleanest hostel we've ever stayed in, and BJ (the owner) was very friendly and clearly loves what he does- we found some great food (Salsa's!) and events thanks to his suggestions! But the best part was the location of this place- we...

We have stayed at the Hostel and Guest House twice now and both of our experiences were great! Perfect location. Very clean house! Very safe and secure with locks on front and bedroom doors. Very affordable. Service is great too. Managers will try their best to accommodate to you!

Clean. Quiet. Efficient. And because I need 200 characters- Asheville restaurant recommendation: the Broken Egg Cafe. Hiking recommendation: Catawba Falls. Live entertainment: Tressa's and Asheville Music Hall.

We loved staying here. It had the perfect location for walking to bars and restaurants and breweries. BJ was super helpful in telling us where to go and was very responsive via text. The house was quiet and even though there were other people staying there we felt we had a good amount of privacy and space. There was also...
