We had a great time when we stayed for 3 nights. If you appreciate architecture, fantastic food, large porches, great accomodations and more, this is the place to stay. I loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the large front veranda, enjoying wine and appetizers every evening. Breakfast is set is a gorgeous dining room with all the bells and...

Really loved the evening wine and appetizers on the large front porch every day. Enjoyed the hosts detailed information on places to eat, tours and short cuts. Everything was spot on. The Walnut Room, was beautiful, peaceful and very spacious. When it is cooler the fireplaces are lit or gorgeous. We looked forward to the breakfasts with great anticiptaion as...

We stayed for only 1 night and it was truly a great experience for us. We were treated like family and the hospitality was very gracious. Everything was wonderful; our room, the food, directions and most of all they treated everyone with such honest and open hospitality. I highly recommend staying their again.

The Inn is charming--centrally located and beautuflly restored. However, the real treat is the food. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise each morning, and the afternoon delicacies were not to be missed. We returned from dinner each night to a wonderful "leftover" dessert. We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys fine food imaginatively prepared.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast Inn. What great experience! Lori and Peter are prefect hosts. Great conversation, very helpful with Biltmore tickets and tour hints.. We loved the 5:00 P.M. cheese and wine. Breakfast each morning was wanderful. We stayed in the Sunshine room which was very comfortable with great linens....

The Black Walnut B&B is a highlight of Asheville, NC (and would be of any City). The grounds are beautiful, colorful and soothing. We spent several nights in each of two very attractive and cozy rooms, and felt very much at home. Gilding the experience are the lovely and cheery proprietors, Lori and Peter White, who make the stay memorable....

My wife and I stayed in the Walnut room which was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the sheets were incredibly soft. The old fashioned bath tub was really neat! Lots of complimentary food and drinks (including wine) for that late night snack. The breakfasts were to die for!! Peter, Lori, and...

I had never stayed at a B&B before but we had a wonderful time. The owners were such wonderful hosts and were even nice to our crazy dog (we stayed out in the carriage house in one of two dog friendly rooms). We had a great time and I would definitely recommend it. It was kind of a long walk...

We had a great stay at the Black Walnut. It was the perfect escape from a muggy hometown. There is a separate house containing two dog friendly rooms. They even had dog treats from Three Dog Bakery in the room. This is just one example of the little touches that made this a great place to stay. The breakfast was...
