The interior: there was hair in the bathroom floor and dirt in the corner. The desk, I discovered when I pulled out the chair, had drawers that wouldn’t stay closed without the chair propped there.
We left the maid service please sign on the door but never once did someone come to clean the room.
Breakfast: during the weekday, very sparse breakfast- literally only honeybuns and croissants with cream cheese, hard boiled eggs and packets of oatmeal during the week. There was coffee and tea but no fruit, yogurts, juices or bagels in sight.
Upside: on the weekends, it was a nice full menu with scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes along with a complement of bagels, waffles, yogurts and orange and apple juices.
Also upside, the maintenance man responded quickly when we called down about trouble with the T.V. Remote.
All in all, not very happy with our stay.
The first room’s toilet didn’t work and reeked of cheap perfume.
I had to insist on a different room which they did not want to provide. The second room has functional plumbing - so far - but it’s got the same nauseating smell and I’ve got a headache from that.
The door is so warped it doesn’t close tightly. The electrical outlets are overloaded with five items plugged into a single surge protector type of device.
The nightstand has warped wood looking as if it’s been water damaged in the front of it. And there’s mold around the tub.
Thank goodness we’re only staying one night because this place is AWFUL.
