Easy to locate, free and ample safe parking, close to many large shops and restaurants, staff were good and made obvious effort to ensure you are happy. Clean spacious room but requires a little makeover. We had odd cushions making up the sofa bed and the air conditioning is old and made us both very sniffly and bungee up the following day. View from our room on 5th floor was amazing. There was a breakfast option for an additional charge. The swimming pool was out of use however you were able to use the pool at the hotel next door. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.

A good friend of mine got married at a venue not too far from the hotel and she blocked a set of rooms at this hotel, it was the best thing she could have done. The staff were super friendly, my room was very clean. The hotel is located in an area with plenty of restaurants to eat from, CVS, Walgreens and Starbucks is right across the parking lot from the hotel.

I went downstairs to have dinner just cause I really didn't want to go outside to get dinner. Miami International Airport is a little far drom the hotel about 35-45 minute drive. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Great location for the Everglades both for the tram ride and for Flamingo Visitors Center. Very clean and well maintained. The on site bistro is convenient with a friendly staff but they were out of half of the items on the menu. Especially after traveling all day with delays the convenience of an on site bistro was much appreciated. And the burgers were very good.

clean and bright, super helpful staff at time of check in. Went to use the laundry facilities to find the machine broken. reported to the front desk only to be told I was the third person that day asking for a refund of money due to a non working machine, I asked why a sign was not posted on the machines until a technician had been called out. No response given. We had specifically chosen this hotel due to this feature as we have been on a trip from Phoenix, AZ to the Florida Keys and knew we would need to do laundry at this stage. We stayed 3 nights, the machine was never repaired and a sign never posted in the laundry during our stay. Oh by the way, please get full size pillows, those small square things belong on a couch not a king size bed..

Coming from the Keys and heading towards Flamingo in the Everglades, we arrived at the hotel at 10:15 am. We were friendly greeted at the reception and could leave all our luggage in safe custody for the rest of the day.
Upon returning at 6 pm, the hotel looked deserted as it was Thanksgiving Day. Again we received a warm and personal welcome. Staff was very helpful to find a restaurant, but most of them were closed for Thanksgiving. Hence we received a 10$ voucher for the hotel restaurant: my wife was disappointed by the margarita flatbread that was incomparable in quality to the one she had at the Courtyard by Marriott in Marathon. My chicken breast sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato tasted perfect with a Belgian beer.
Our room was less spacious than in Marathon and the floor was entirely in carpet (which is not the most hygienic solution). We had two large queen size beds with 3 pillows each (but a terrible mattress for my back) A spacious desktop and a mobile table that was perfect to put a suitcase on. Big flat screen, iron and board, coffeemaker, empty minibar and 2 bottles of water (not complimentary, but for sale!). No safe in the room! Wall-mounted shower without hand hose. Airconditioning did not work properly. During the night the room was very silent.
Strange fact at breakfast: where I received on the first morning an extra all-grain toast and coffee for free, I had to pay for them on the second morning....
But we won't forget the extra friendly staff at the reception!

Our family stayed here while visiting Biscayne and Everglades National Parks. We were so impressed by how clean the room was - we all agreed it was probably the cleanest, nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. The room (2 queen beds) was big, and the bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. Hotel showers usually have issues with water pressure (at least in our experience), but ours was great. Not sure about breakfast, because we ate out during our stay.

The hotel is in a great location, with some restaurants and fast-food chains next door or nearby. It's a 15 minute drive to Biscayne National Park, 20 minute drive to Everglades National Park, and 30-40 minute drive to Marlins Park in Miami. It's also right off the Turnpike, so easy access to getting back on the road for traveling.

Literally cannot recommend this hotel enough. Definitely stay here if you're visiting south Florida/Miami or the national parks.

This is a very nice modern hotel. We were greeted very warmly at reception and we had a very nice room. The restaurant on site serves simple meals, which are very tasty and good value. The staff in the restaurant are also very friendly. This hotel came closest of all hotels on our US trip to meeting our expectations. It is only 20 minutes to the the main Everglades Park entrance, so if you wish to visit there, it is a great location. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Homestead. We used it as a base to access the Everglades, Biscayne National Park and the Keys. Good central location. Can't describe accurately where it is, but it was in my GPS.

We had a NS, King room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, desk, and sofa bed. Looks like some of the furniture has been around for a bit but everything was clean. Large room that was well organized. Large walk in shower in a good size bathroom.

Nice outdoor pool area. Very quiet location even though just off a busy street.

Front desk staff were very personable and helpful. There is a bistro that serves breakfast (for a price) as well as a light dinner menu with beer and wine available.

This stay worked out well for us and we would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night. We like Marriott properties and this was a good one. It has a good location. Check in was quick and the staff friendly. The room was very nice and clean. We liked the walk in shower in our room. The bed was pretty comfortable, maybe just a little hard. The shower pressure would be one complaint. It was low and it took a while to wash shampoo out. We used the fitness room and it was good with hand weights, elliptical, and treadmills. One reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the restaurant setup. It is not continental. During our stay there, we never saw anyone in the restaurant, night or morning. I question how much the restaurant is really used. Maybe better during the week. I would stay here again.

One of the nicest Courtyard hotels I've stayed at. Great lobby, Bistro area is large and comfortable, eveything was clean and top notch. The hotel staff was always ready to help and extremely friendly. I can't say enough good things about this location and am already booking future stays for groups I have coming to the area.

I think as you go onto the payment page you should be able to put in your gift card information and it should work. If not, contact the hotel.

The hotel does not provide shuttle services. They may have a concierge service so I would call the hotel. I would contact local guide services for visiting the Everglades, you would be much better off renting a car and stayimg a minimum of two nights in Key West. It looks on the map like a day trip there but its basically a one lane road with a 40 mile an hour speed limit. It can be a lovely drive with interesting places to stop along the way. It can be a LONG drive if there is an accident anywhere on the road. Most people who fly from Miami home always leave Key West a day early for that reason. Have a great trip and have fun in Key West. After two nights you probably will want to stay longer!

We actually took a wonderful course with Road Scholar out of Naples, Fl. The Everglades National Park would be one of the best places to start your trip and to get really good information. They have a fabulous guided boat trip through the 10,000 islands in Everglades National Park. There is also the Big Cypress Welcome Center that is a good place to go. I wouldn't miss visiting Shark Valley where there is a fun and very informative tram tour that goes out to a huge lookout point. Along the way you will have a narrated history and will see LOTS of alligators up close and personal. There is a boardwalk that you can walk at the Fakahatchee Swamp . Don't miss eating at just about any fish restaurant in Everglades City (good choice would be City Seafood) and you can also stop at the Museum of the Everglades. Since we did all of this from a Naples start point and returned there every evening, I can't guide you to these places from Homestead. If you do end up in the Naples area you can stop at the Rookery Bay Natural Estuarine Research Center and then have a fun dinner anywhere in the Tin City complex. We stayed at this beautiful Courtyard in Homestead only because we were heading to and from a Key West trip. You can also ask any other questions by sending me a request through Trip Advisor! Good luck!
