We stayed here 3 nights while touring the Everglades and Key West. We had a queen room with balcony. The room was comfortable but lacked an alarm clock, facial tissues, and notice of when breakfast was to be served, 8 a.m. the language barrier was tough. We had breakfast once which was good but slow service if you want to...

Jumping off point for visiting the Everglades, this small updated historic hotel offers a great value. The rooms are smallish, but offer charm and comfort. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the cooked-to-order breakfast is a value rarely found elsewhere.

The restaurant is so old Florida, with decor to match. The lunch we had was fantastic, service was the best, fresh and tasty. Old Flagler motiff. Reminded me of an old stage coach stop you see in the movies. And it probably was. They have a gorgeous porch overlooking the street, great place to hang out and have a mint...

My husband and I spent the night here while visiting the Everglades. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a drink and shown to our room. The hotel is a historic building so I was expecting a small, cosy room. Our room was lovely with a nice sized shower and a comfy bed. The hotel is clean and the staff is...

WE went to the Hotel to eat. This was for lunch and the food was great as well as the service. The dining tables were decorated as you might expect to find in a five start restaurant. The hotel has some history as it was built in 1904. A famous gangster is reported to have stayed here. There are a...

Nice historical hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted with a cocktail and showed to our room. We had a Queen with a balcony. Located on the edge of town with a central alarm system for piece of mind. The place was in nice condition for the age and was very clean. Breakfast was included with eggs, toast...

The hotel has been tastefully redecorated. The service is very Spanish speaking and we had some difficulty on Sunday afternoon as the proprietor has seen fit to provide no bar service. The beds are comfortable, the room adequate, but small. Wifi is available to me only in the lobby. Dirty windows and no lid on the toilet seat.

We drove right past it the first time. It is right next to some almost abandoned looking buildings on a main street. Parking is in the back, as is an entrance. There was a man behind the bar and no one behind the desk. He got someone to help us check in, but no one spoke much English. After a...

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Redland. This is a historic hotel (it maybe the oldest in Homestead) and very well preserved. We liked the historic background of the hotel from the beginning (Al Capon slept there etc.), but had no idea how good the service was going to be. The staff at the hotel couldn't...

Chose the Redland Hotel for its historic character and charm while visiting the Everglades. The staff couldn't be nicer, more helpful, or friendly. Cleanest rooms ever, and some of the nicest and most charming rooms ever stayed in. Whole building and accommodations excellent. Restaurant and meals wonderful. Again, simply the nicest staff around. Truly a gem! Will definitely go back...
