My tour company, Alaska Iditarod Tours, has been staying with the Dredge 7 / Sluicebox Inn for 6 years now. We are there during the Iditarod Sled Dog Race for 9 nights and Judy and her crew are always very accommodating. In my opinion, the apartments and suites they own are the best rooms in Nome.

The room was really nice, very warm and pleasant. I appreciated the hospitality and the nice surroundings. When I arrived, there was clear directions for finding my room and everything was very clean, bright and cheerful. I recommend anyone staying at the Dredge!

I have stayed at Dredge No. 7 Inn many times and in many of their various rooms/locations and I have never been disappointed or unsatisfied with their hospitality, cleanliness and service. Judy has created an inviting and fun atmosphere with her gold rush era themed rooms and provides excellent service to her guests.

The Dredge is like a home away from home. Super comfy and cozy with all the amenities you need at any hotel but especially important in a remote location!! The rooms are spacious and the beds are the best- warm and comfortable!! Judy and Doug will take care of you!!

The Inn is very clean and charming. I travel all over the state and it is a pleasure to find such an accommodating location. They have rental vehicles on-site which is very convenient. My room had breakfast items stocked and everything I needed to do my own cooking. Super nice. I will stay here again.

Stayed three nights on business. Tried the Dredge no. 7 Inn since I normally stay at the Aurora. The furnishings are pleasant, but the house itself is tired. My room was either too hot or too cold. That being said though, Nome is notoriously hard to find quality lodging in, and I would rate this place in the top 2.

Stayed at the Teller Rd. property, in the Dredgemaster suite. It is a delightful place overall. The room was great, comfortable big bed, couch, table, and kitchenette. Quiet place, sparsely staffed, but with clear instructions posted everywhere. No hassle checkin/checkout. Loved it.

I stayed 2 nights in Sept 2016 and was very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, friendliness, and efficiency of service. The motif is decorative woodwork, like a well maintained craftsman. This is the place to stay if you're in Nome, AK.

This was my second opportunity to stay at the Dredge 7. After a delightful first stay in June, I was able to secure 4 rooms for myself and my coworkers for a period of 2 weeks. We work with the government and despite many changes to our schedule that were beyond our control, Sherry was very gracious in accommodating multiple...

This is a little ways out of town. Nicely decorated with antiques. My room had commons area with couches, dining room table and access and use of a full kitchen. The bathroom is shared with one other room, but that was not an issue with me. Eating out is really expensive in Nome so I would recommend sticking up at...

Thank you for your review and feedback! We are so sorry for the misconception that you had a shared bathroom!! All rooms at the Dredge No. 7 Inn have private in room baths.... except one room! That private bath is across the hall and therein lies the misconception. It was a real pleasure to have you in our wonderful state...
