Since moving to Custer, South Dakota a year and a half ago, Circle View Guest Ranch has been on our list of "must do's." We spent two nights there and were not disappointed! The view from the Ranch is amazing! It sits atop a butte and you can see the Badlands in one direction, and the winding river and cattle...

Why live in a hotel when you can stay in a Ranch with an absolutely adorable family and its animals? We stayed in a king-size room with attached bathroom that was enriched with the three Cs - Cleanliness, Comfort, Charisma! The ranch has its share of chickens, Hank - the dog and horses as well. But the night-time view of...

My friend and I stayed in the 1880's Homestead Cabin, part of the Circle View Guest Ranch, back in October 2013. It is a two bedroom cabin with no electricity, running water and has an outhouse. We enjoyed the beauty and adventure, with a few recommendations. We stayed there right after the big snowstorm out there. We got there just before...

I recently stayed 6 days at the Circle View Guest Ranch the first week of December 2013 and had a wonderful time. The owners, Phil and Amy, were excellent friendly hosts and their kid a blast. Amy is a phenomenal cook and breakfast is more then you could every want. Fresh chicken eggs and oven baked brown sugar thick sliced...

We never thought we'd find a favorite B&B on a 2800-acre cattle ranch in the middle of the Badlands. The Kruse family's home sits atop a butte with 360-degree views for miles. Nice sheets and towels and, something that's very hard to find, plenty of hooks in the bathroom. Spotless room with comfortable king bed. Avoid the town of Wall...

My family (husband, two elementary school aged kids, and me) stayed at the Circle View Ranch last summer and absolutely loved it. Amy and Phil and their kids couldn't be nicer and the place is STUNNING. Worth the price just to see the sunset here. We stayed in the Cowboy Cabin, which was perfect for a family....let us enjoy some...

I just returned from a western loop of a trip that included Colorado and had on my list a return to CIRCLE VIEW GUEST RANCH (South Dakota) where I have previously stayed. THAT in itself is a recommendation. It is "I need to go back there again" place with "I need to eat breakfast with that nice couple again" hosts....

If you're not just driving through the Badlands, this is definitely a place to check out. It's right smack dab in the Badlands so you have a great view from the house as well as close to the drive through the park. The rooms are comfortable, the owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the night sky is...

This B&B 4 miles south of the eastern visitor center in the Badlands was designed as a B&B so the 8 rooms here are spacious, each with their own bathroom. There are also some cabins. Hearty breakfasts are fit for the working ranchers, including homemade blueberry granola, fresh eggs from the chickens running about, and whole wheat blueberry pancakes. Many...

We were originally wanted to stay at a lodge in Badlands national park but there were no availability and that turned out to be a good thing. This was our first bed-and-breakfast we ever stayed at so it was a bit strange to sleep in one of the bed rooms like you were in someone's house but I guess that...
