Nice, well-maintained campground close to the Badlands National Park Visitor Center. (Plan on spending longer in the visitor center than you think. It's excellent and the rangers can tell you where the buffalo herds are.) This campground is off the rt 240 park loop on the SE side. After checking out all the campgrounds in the Northern section of the...

We rented a cabin with a bathroom. It had three twin size beds and one full size bed, table and chairs with a microwave. It was great! The kids swam in the pool a lot. The river runs behind it. There are lots of choices for rentals. Our friends stayed in the camping circle that included a kitchen area with...

Like all my other KOA experiences, the owners/managers were terribly friendly and helpful. Check in was very easy and the online reservation was easy as well. I tent camped and the gravel pad was fine. Even the wireless internet worked fairly well. I'd stay again.

We where traveling from Colorado, on our way back to Minnesota when we decided to stop and spend the night close to the badlands. Even though it was a chillier afternoon we decided to camp, and I found this campsite after some googling. We where really lucky because the campsite closed the day after we got there. I called to...

Fabulous location just outside the main visitors center for the Badlands. We were originally expecting to tent camp in one of the Deluxe tent sites that has a shelter, water & electricity, but after checking the weather, we realized it was going to be exceptionally hot. Luckily, there was a deluxe cabin available with AC, fridge, bathroom, shower, microwave, and...

Staff was friendly, Shady sites, Very clean dog walk. Because of the campground location this was a great oasis in the badlands. Campground is beside the White river. Close to the Indian Reservation. prairie dog town. Safe hiking area. We would stay here again. Lots of things for Grandchildren to do. Swimming, biking etc.

Cabin was clean . We really enjoyed it . Best place to stay near bad lands at a reasonable price . We stayed for a night . Wifi is poor there and no phone signal in that area . Perhaps it is good to stay away from phone for a day

We had the joy of spending two nights in a tipi at the KOA. The location is awesome, very near the Badlands, but away from all the tourists and noise. Our tipi was perfect - two metal frame futons and carpeted floors. We were very comfortable and stayed warm and dry during a thunderstorm the first night. The campsite comes...

Not a lot of places to camp near this part of the Badlands. We normally don't stay at KOAs, but this time little choice. The campground is in a great spot next to the White River - lots of trees, so out of wind and shaded. Grounds are spacious. Depending on your site, some are larger. One of two showers/bathrooms...

Stayed at the White River KOA and although it is out if the way myself family had a nice time. The campground is very well kept and clean and the folks running it are very pleasant. The tent sites with the shelter are well worth a few extra dollars just to have wind block, privacy as well as a sink...
