This is obviously a great place to stay. We were only able to get a single night accommodation as they were fully booked for almost a month. It is close to a booming and unattractive downtown area, yet is an unexpected quiet and serene oasis. We were warmly greeted and given a good tour of everything they have to offer... More

Thank you Bob. As you noticed, Moab is a popular destination. With the intense heat of summer now giving way to cooler fall temps, it is a great time to explore the parks. I'm glad we had a room for you, but sorry we couldn't keep you around longer. One of the best and most rewarding aspects of the inn,... More

All the prior positive reviews are true. The best place we stayed on our 15 day/ 8 stop trip through Wyoming and Utah. It really is an oasis in the desert. Sitting on the large wrap around porch in the evening with a glass of wine watching a doe and her two fawns was priceless. Only 12 rooms so reserve... More

Moab is a nice little town, lots of restaurants and gift shops. The Sunflower Inn was excellent: very clean, pretty bedroom, pleasant lounge, lots of amenities like a microwave, a good coffee machine, a washing machine and fridge for guest use. The location is very handy for the Arches and Canyonlands parks. The breakfast buffet was very good, fresh and... More

Thank you for a "really nice" review. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed so many of the amenities. We try to anticipate the needs of our guests. We want to help them be well equipped as they head out for the day, and so that they can relax, refresh, and rejuvenate when back at the inn. Thanks for choosing Sunflower... More

Very comfortable, clean and well appointed accommodations, great breakfasts, and amenities. Thoughtful, genuinely nice innkeepers and staff. Really liked the Sunporch room with its enormous bathroom, jacuzzi and tiled shower. Just three blocks to Main Street, but this is a green, cool oasis with trees, flowers, a pool and gardens. Can't imagine a better place to stay in Moab.

Thank you! Your review covers all the important stuff. One has to experience the harsh, dry, barren (but spectacularly scenic) landscape of the area to fully appreciate how welcoming an oasis-like setting can be. We are pleased to share our little secret retreat with others. Glad you found us! Best regards, Gregg Stucki - GM More

Simply wonderful place to stay in Moab. The great room is awesome with fresh baked goodies and snacks and lots of reading material on the area. Pool was great in the hot summer. Love that there is ample off street parking. Feels very safe and secluded but you can still walk to town in minutes. Breakfast was superb. They even... More

Thank you Gecco, your review is very warm and inviting. You mentioned a lot of nice touches in your comments. Although we work hard to anticipate needs, we don't consider it a static process. So, while we may have "thought of it all" (today), we hope to keep moving onward and upward (tomorrow). Hope to see you again! Best regards,... More

We stayed in the French Bedroom at this lovely place for several nights recently. It would be difficult to exaggerate our level of satisfaction. From the warm welcome and tour right through the simple check-out everything was excellent. Warm cookies in the afternoon, shady pool to cool off after a day hiking the Parks who could ask for more. Just lovely. They've thought of everything from boxed breakfasts (if you're going out hiking early), to umbrellas, to jars of M&Ms and Chex mix, to CDs of national parks to listen to during drives around parks. And coffee and tea and ice water ready anytime. Fabulous breakfast. Clean and well-decorated room (we stayed in the Sunset Suite). Friendly staff. Enjoyed... More
