We chose this RV campground due to the fact that it was a site situated farthest from Hwy 191. When compared to others. Unfortunately the property is in an off season state of upkeep. We spent three nights at this facility and the bathrooms were never serviced. Trash was overflowing in the bathroom receptacles on our departure date. The shower... More

Beautiful RV resort. They have many restrictions but it helps keep everything nice so we feel it is for the benefit of everyone to enjoy the campground to heed the restrictions. They accept late model 5th wheels within the Motorcoach Resort. The bathhouses are beautiful! There is a lovely pool and hot tub altho we did not use them this... More

It's a perfectly fine place to stay, but there are far better. First of all, there is a division between people who own RVs and those who are renting. And if you are renting, you are banished from anything good in this park. The portable showers are a disgrace. The bathrooms are adequate.

We stayed for 6 nights on the campground side. Our site was level and everything was in working order. Internet and cable worked fine. Check-in was a easy and the owners/workers were all very friendly. They have a project going on for a new shower/restroom building and it looks like it will be very nice. The laundry room could use... More

We enjoyed our stay here.....great view of the mountains and location close to town and the parks....we'd stay here again. Only negative is Moab's current over stressed wastewater treatment plant.....Moab needs to get this updated in order to address all of the visitors.

Owners are extremely friendly. The park is a nice oasis in the Moab area. Get great advice on mountain biking and 4WD in the office. The spaces are a little tight. We were near the bathroom, but no distraction. All of our neighbors were friendly, and we enjoyed the location over a 6 night stay. The showers are not a... More

DON'T stay in the "campground". DO stay in the resort. Some of the resort sites have patio covers, tables and chairs. The "campground" side has sites that are questionably level and are naked of any grass.

As nice as any park I have ever stayed in. A herd of deer shows up every evening in the adjacent fields.. Fun to watch. Only real complaint is with the WIFI which is pretty much dead all the time, or was when I was there. The park was fully booked so maybe that was the problem. I used my... More

We stayed here for six nights in early September. We were on the RV side, not the owner's side. The park is nice and very clean. The spaces are very close together, but most people are out and about during the day and inside their RV in the evening; the tight spaces were not an issue for us. For the... More

Portal is located on the north side of Moab, less than a mile from town and a couple miles south of Arches. Portal has two sections - the resort section and the campground. We stayed in the resort section which was very, very nice. The campground area is very separate so I didn't really see it and can't comment on... More
