We visited the Apache four years ago while it was still "quaint", unfortunately, it has fallen into a sorry state. The walls are paper thin, our room smelled of gas (we had to be moved to another room), the refrigerator was not working and we...More

I stayed there because I was alone on a hiking trip, and this place was cheap. The room seemed clean enough, but everything was worn out and ragged... everything. I've seen many cabins that looked better than this motel. The room also smelled. I suspected...More

If you're claiming that John Wayne stayed here, at least change the shower curtain. Overall the room was tidy, but worn and smelly. We paid $85 (+ tax) per night in July. We have been camping for 2 weeks and wanted a cheap, but clean...More

Sorry, 1 more thing on the price. The price usually goes up if there are events in town and as is gets closer to summer. However, this is one of the least expensive motels that I know of.
