It's a great place for desert rats to crash in an established hostel. You can pay a small fee and set up a tent or rent a cabin or indoor bunk in a shared room. Showers. Internet. Misfits. Pots/pans. Climber bros. Van lifers.
We stayed in one of the private cabins for Memorial Day Weekend and found it to be clean and comfortable. It came with Double bunk bed, table and 2 chairs, A/C, and heater. The common area was convenient with Kitchen, Vending machine, lounge area, and...More

Glad you had a good time. Folks should keep in mind that Memorial weekend is the busiest weekend of the year here. We don't normally have tents in the parking lot. (Shouldn't have happened this time, but sometimes things just happen when you...More
I've had private rooms, dorm beds, and just camped at the Lizard and have nothing but positive things to say about the place. It's budget, folks. That means no "complimentary" breakfast(you know you pay for that, right?)", no brand spankin' new flatscreen in your room,...More
Very basic hostel but friendly. Double room had heater and air conditioner and small chest fro things. No wardrobe. Toilets and showers are kept clean.

I've never been to a hostel, but am open minded and willing. We are going to be out a lot, just mostly to sleep, but I want to bring my son along. I've looked around online, and mostly it just says per hostel.. So would it be a good place? He is open minded and awesome. Just wondering about opinions about it..
