This B&B has two things going for it, the LOCATION, and the young lady that runs it, Monique. It is within walking distance to town and all the wonderful historical buildings. Monique was an exceptional host, the breakfast the first day was amazing. We had to leave extra early the second day and she was thoughtful enough to leave us...

My husband and I arrived in Harpers Ferry for a weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the immediate kindness and hospitality of Monique, the Innkeeper. She was able to check us in early and was very knowledgeable about Harpers Ferry and the surrounding area. Our room on the first floor was quaint and clean with a beautiful view! Monique's...

My husband and I stayed at Ledge House for 3 nights on an anniversary getaway. The location was beautiful, overlooking the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers as well as the railroad. Three states come together at this point - Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. Guests can walk into the historic town of Harpers Ferry, hike along the Appalachian...

My boyfriend and I had an amazing Valentines Day weekend here! Monique, the innkeeper, upgraded us to Suite #2, which has a private balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the rivers. We had decided to stay in for the night and she made us a plate of cheese, crackers, nuts, berries, and olives. The weather was beautiful, so we sipped...

The view was wonderful, room was comfortable, bottle of wine waiting for us, and nice kitchen/living room with fireplace, drinks, treats. Even games and a guitar tuned to play! And Monique, our house host, was so very helpful with all our questions and any little thing. Plus, she made a wonderful breakfast for us each morning. What a great getaway...

Seeking a quiet B&B experience, we were fortunate enough to stumble onto this unpolished diamond. Monique is your host and her well traveled persona is only outshined by her professional chef training. Breakfast is by far the source of each day's excitement; What will she treat us to today, and can she really outdo yesterday? (the answer is Yes, by...

We visited on a long weekend getaway before the prime visitor season began. We checked in easily and were taken to our room, which was spacious, pleasantly quaint and comfortable. The shower was nice and excellent and the tub was luxurious. The appointments of the room were well thought out, from period furniture to old and interesting books. The breakfast...

For an overnight or weekend getaway in Harpers Ferry the Ledge House is fabulous. We were most fortunate to be the only guests. Monique, the manager, warmly welcomed us and set us off on the goat path to the national historic sites. Unaware that the shops and restaurants in Harpers Ferry were closed, we wondered about dinner options. Monique had...

This is a nice little house with a beautiful location overlooking the converging rivers and railroad trail. Note railroad. The noise is a little overwhelming but part of the history of the area. Bring a white noise machine. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. It had a separate sitting room and deck. The hill up to the house is...

The setting was perfect and within walking distance of downtown Harper's Ferry. The AT runs right through town, great location to start a wonderful hike! Room was very nice and house was charming. One of the best things about Ledge House was the innkeeper, Monique. She was the BEST!!! Had snacks for hikers and packed us some sandwiches for our...
