An all around great experience. Super sweet hosts, with a great sense of pride in family, their home, and their town. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Almost too pretty to eat! The room was spacious, bed comfy, and decorated beautifully.

Even more so than being able to stay at the amazing and immaculately kept historical home of General Stonewall Jackson, Phil and his family go far beyond the extra mile to make you feel part of a very special family - the attention to small details, incredible breakfast and genuine care really made my weekend! Did I mention the gingerbread... More

Private bath. Clean room. Soft pillows. Hosts were wonderful and kind. Food was amazing!!!!!! On Saturday, after we had walker for about 6 miles, we came back to fresh lemonade and homemade cookies waiting on the table. We will stay here again.

Three nights lodging, three wonderful breakfasts! The house has historic charm, conveniently located from the highway and from town and offered lots of tour and historic reading. Room was clean & well appointed with a large modern bathroom. Our hosts Phil & Deb were friendly and provided great information when asked. The gifts that came from the kitchen topped this... More

This B&B is clean, bike friendly and provides excellent welcoming food and breakfast. Includes a power washer and good garage for bikes. The only draw back is the 1 mile plus down a steep hill to the bike path.

Definitely the nicest B&B my girlfriend and I have stayed in. Historic, friendly, comfortable. A very nice quiet location with at least two good restaurants within walking distance. Reasonable rates. We stayed in the Jackson Rose in, which is fairly spacious, has a very comfortable bed, and decent bathroom (shower no tub). The owners Deb and Phil are super-friendly, very... More

My girlfriend Denyse and I stayed at the Jackson Rose last week and had a wonderful time. The owners and their son (and dog!) Are all very welcoming and the home itself is so cozy and lovely...as well as being historic! We had the pleasure of staying at night in the room that Stonewall Jackson used as his headquarters during... More

The Jackson Rose is one of Harper's Ferry treasured landmarks and part of the National Register of Historic Places. This Bed and Breakfast is the most visually striking as observed from the front gate. Looking up from the street, a person views an i8th Century residence built of brick with a beautiful front lawn that includes the signature 'Rose' as... More
