Staff - I would like to acknowledge Rowena and Heather who were both at the front desk. Please give these two a raise. They were warm and friendly, and greeted guests every time. Location - I loved the ability to walk all around the Financial District and Chinatown. It's a short walk heading to Union Square and Market St. From...

My husband and I stayed just two nights here over a weekend. It was wonderful. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, 2 bath and I think we may have had the best room here. We stayed on the 8th floor, room 805, corner room. It is an older hotel, built I believe in 1908. Yes, it is an old building...

This hotel is in the HEART of the city- close to everything with staff and service. We left our car in San Jose with family and took the train, and then a $10 cab ride. Enjoying our 7-day Muni pass for Cable Car, bus and streetcars. The hotel was nicely remodeled by WorldMark a few years ago and has been...

Dear Citizengjb, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay. I also appreciate your feedback regarding the renovation. As a note, we are still waiting for some pieces for the lobby, one of which is a large area rug in the seating area. We are hopeful this will help...

We love Worldmark for the great consistency. Spacious clean rooms, nice amenities, and incredibly friendly service are hallmarks of each location we have stayed out. What a sad disappointment to find out that none of these standards are met in San Francisco. After driving in to the city from the Windsor location, we were shocked at the size of our...

Dear CMG3000, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to our resort. I appreciate receiving all feedback whether positive or not. You noted several items that are unique to us as an urban resort in a historic building versus one such as Windsor. Smaller room size, uneven flooring due to settling, and noise name just a few...

The hotel is comfortable and clean, although old. We had to pay a $59 maintenance fee and parking is $39 if you use the garage across the street and do not take your car in or out. The staff is welcoming and available to answer questions and offer suggestions for activities in San Francisco. The location is good, and walking...

Clean and convenient, this urban World Mark is not as nice as the urban locations in Seattle & Vancouver. Rooms are small. The location was undergoing repairs so the gym and laundry machines were not functioning. There is also no computer for guests to use. Staff is friendly. The location is very VERY convenient and in a safe area.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
