I loved this hotel, it had such a great feel about it and the decor was fabulous! It was located close to everything, and the street itself was full of cute little cafes to get a coffee or bfast.

The rooms are of ample size with a clean modern look. Lots of orange so maybe good for those from Holland! Shaun on the front desk was wearing an excellently groomed moustache and was very helpful. Location is within walking distance of most sights given SF is quite spread out - the neighbourhood felt safe and there were ample amenities...

I spent 3 night in this hotel. It is a good hotel, very well located next to Union Square. In a nice area. The rooms not on the streets are very quiet. The people are very helpful. It is simple clean and ideal to visit San Frnacisco

I stayed here for 6 nights while I was in SF for business. The location was good (about 5-6 blocks from Union Square), so it was within walking distance for most of my meetings (which were scattered around downtown). The staff were super friendly and I was even able to check-in to my room 3 hours early. They offered secure...

I spent a week there and the location couldn't be better, a few blocks from Union Square and you can take a MUNI bus right on the same street of the hotel or 1 or 2 blocks away depending where you are heading to. There's some convenience stores and small cafes steps away, a pizzeria and even a laundry place....

I was choosing between hotel Baldwin next to Chinatown gates where we stayed before and Vertigo. Went for something new (and better priced!) and was very glad. The design is very refreshing (loved the 'crocodile skin' tiles), the room was clean, and quieter than at Baldwin. Do use the Powell station to arrive/leave at night. The other station (can't remember...

I recently stayed at the Hotel Vertigo for a 3 nights after my conference concluded. I had a 2 double bed room on the 2nd floor. The hotel was well managed and maintained, the room was adequate and both my friend and I had comfortable sleeps. The beds are new and have a reasonable pillow top. The room itself is...

We stayed here for 2 nights and were not disappointed. It's a great little hotel close enough to walk to union square and if you're feeling energetic you can walk all the way to Fisherman's Wharf without too much trouble. The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated, loved the horse head lamps. You will have to climb a...
