i must confess that we had some expetactions once its a W hotel, but it ended up being a disapointment in so many ways. We stayed for 4 nights. Cons: - the hotel decor at the lobby is no really impressive. lets call it average for a design hotel standard. Mostly black walls, - the lobby is shared with the...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I'm not sure if this was because I was upgraded at check-in, but this is the best W Hotel I've visited. Like all W Hotel rooms, the decor is fun and unique, but I also noticed so many other little touches in the room that I haven't seen in any other Ws: a foot roller/massager under the desk, Buddha night...

Hello, Thank you so much for the love. We also enjoy that foot massage roller quite a bit! I do appreciate your feedback on the WIFI connection issues that we are experiencing, I will certainly pass this along to the IT experts so that you and everyone else has a smooth connection moving forward. Don't be a stranger and come...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel this past week. For the price point I was expecting a much nicer room than the "standard" room we stayed in. Half of the decor was updated and eccentric but the other half was cheap, fake wood that was peeling and cracking. The staff was exceptional but definitely expecting more...

I stayed at this hotel about 12 years ago and the hotel hasn't changed much. The location of the hotel is fantastic for going to museums, eating and shopping. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean. I just feel like they could use a little refresh on the rooms. No wifi? In a...

I have again stayed at this W despite my previous misgivings. This time I did not have a larger corner room yet the experience was much better. Perhaps it was the set up or the sun but everything just seemed better, including the staff. However, given the choice, I'd rather stay at the InterContinental just a block away since it...

My company sent me to a single day seminar at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The W Hotel is virtually next door. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet and I did not hear any neighbors. Had a very good night's sleep. What more could you want?

Has all the bells and whistles of a typical w: hip, modern, edgy and cool with the right crowd. Services tend to be stiff upper lips but get things done. Breakfast spread and fitness amenities are excellent !

Great location and a modern hotel in every sense. Good food , good drinks helpful staff can't fault any of it. Food and drink is on par with everywhere else in the city. Car parking is $60+ but so is everywhere in frisco.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
