OK for a 2/3 night stay. read the breakfast reviews, others have mentioned it really is that poor Typical US motel, rooms tired and in desperate need of modernisation. poor / slow Wi-Fi Reception staff were very helpful , but the manager really does need to smile once in a while, always looks like someone or something has upset him....

It is a simple motel, with parking, mini-fridge, wifi, cable, and clean rooms. I was staying for a conference at Fort Mason. Very satisfied and excellent value relative to the area. It is a little loud as it is on Lombard St, but if you close the windows or have ear plugs, there are no problems.

To all intents and purposes this is what I term as a traditional American Motel and ideal for a two or three night stay. The Motel is in a reasonably good location and was nice and clean. They do offer a type of breakfast which consists of the equivalent of Danish pastries, fruit, orange juice and coffee. Not massive, but...

We had a double queen room which was a good size and clean. The hotel is friendly and is located well in San Fransisco. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Alcatraz tour ferry which is recommend. We then got a cab to the Golden Gate Bridge which I was about $18.

This motel is a good value place on Lombard Street which is not far from the front. About 15 mins from Fisherman's Wharf and 10 mins from the famous windy street. The rooms are fine, the bathrooms are fine and you get free wifi. The beds were very comfortable. There's parking on site You get breakfast but be aware it...

This was a nice little hotel with a nice staff. We were able to walk to fisherman's wharf and we arrived 6 hours before check in and they let us use there free parking. The only negative was a terrible breakfast of wrapped pastries.

It's not a four star hotel, but it provides everything one needs to visit San Francisco: FREE PARKING; walking distance to the Lombard Street point of interest and to Fisherman's Wharf; clean room; refrigerator; breakfast (continental, but better than nothing). I definitely recommend it. PS- It may not be the cheapest in the area, but it was best value for...

Room was clean and was greeted by a nice receptionist. Bathroom was good and they have refrigerator and coffee machine which were the bonus! Good location, it is about 25 mins walk to the Pier 39. The breakfast was good, you even can take it to your room if needed. Wifi was icky - kept disconnecting. Most importantly, the free...

Picked up hire car from airport and a straightforward drive to motel. stayed three nights. Very convenient to walk to just about everywhere, down town, Fishermans Warf, Lombard twisty road. we even walked to Golden Gate Bridge! The best thing here is the free parking. The room was fine, not big or grand but all you need, coffee machine, fridge,...

On the good side rooms are clean and you have parking. WAY overpriced. Good enough location but better choices in the area for a lot less. Breakfast is a joke for the price. A few pieces of fruit and plastic wrapped pastry. Wifi was very slow. People weren't overly friendly so glad we didn't need help. Wouldn't stay here again...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
