My husband and I stayed here 2 days and one night after a long weekend in Napa/Sonoma. This is a great location in San Francisco but for the price it is just an above average hotel nothing real special. However I must say the bathroom was nice and large with 2 sinks which is was wonderful, but beyond that it... More

The entire hotel experience has gone down hill...feels like a Marriott property--definitely not a Ritz Carlton. They no offer movies on-demand, the Club floor feels like an average club in Las Vegas. We will no longer stay here--we plan to move to The Four Seasons.

Ideal location to get around San Francisco. We also travelled to Napa and the Peninsula with ease. Staff and service was great throughout all departments. Clean rooms and did not feel worn out or old.

Summary: The family wanted to get away for Thanksgiving but we didn't want to travel far so we decided to visit San Francisco. We chose the Ritz in Union Square because it was close to a lot of places that we wanted to visit. From the minute we arrived at the hotel to when we left we felt very welcomed... More

The property is magnificent. The staff is friendly and attentive. The location is perfect for shopping and sightseeing. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel seems to be very family friendly also, lots of children around.

Loved our stay here - breakfast buffet is fantastic and service is even better. We left some items in the room and not only did they find them for us but they overnights them back to us - they are truly a top notch organization and we will definitely be back!

From the moment walking in I could tell this was going to be a fabulous stay! The Ritz did not disappoint. I and my girlfriend were treated with the utmost respect and catered to. We had a one-bedroom suite with city view (Club Level Access); room 909. I highly recommend Club Level Access. The meals were delicious along with the... More

Very typical Ritz Carlton with old world ambiance and luxury. Good location, nice size rooms ( a bit loud outside noises in lower floors). Attentive staff, nice perk of complimentary in house car use for local transfers when available.

Amazing service and a beautiful hotel. The pillows and beds are so comfy. This hotel has one of the best hotel gyms. The only negative are the shower curtains. What five star hotel has shower curtains? Overall an amazing stay.
