If you want to really treat yourselves to a luxury hotel, brilliantly located in the centre of downtown San Fran, you would do a lot worse than the JW Marriott. Worth every penny of the $180 room rate. So much to eat, drink and be merry around Union Sq. Stunning architecture, beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable and made to feel VIP....

This is one of the best hotels is San Francisco. Even though it is very large they have a nice comfortable feel. Easily one of the best hotel staffs in the business. I will stay here every time I am in town. We went for my daughter's birthday and every member of the staff made her feel like she was...

Travel every week and in SF often. First time at this property and was I ever pleasantly surprised. The Union Square area is full of boutique hotels, some great inside and out and some with a nice facade and really poor interior and staff. The JW has that boutique feel at the entry level and very nicely appointed. And then...

I really enjoyed my experience at the JW. We stayed there for three nights on a weekend trip to San Francisco. We are gold members at Marriott and this hotel has great benefits. The guys that work outside were very helpful, friendly and courteous. Upon arrival I really felt the JW experience that makes it top of the line within...

Busy, modern, convenient. Didn't have to walk a mile to the elevators. Rooms very clean and fresh linens, comfortable beds. We'd stay there again for sure. Food at hotel quite pricey, would eat elsewhere for breakfast.

Even though we made sure our account was at a zero balance upon leaving, two days later a charge of $6.53 magically appears on my credit card - for a supposed pack of M&Ms from the minibar. That would be the minibar that I did not dare to even open as I read the warning on the outside. They invite...

We stay at lots of Marriotts, and this was not our favorite but the location was terrific - we were seeing a show just a block away - and the (quoted) price was right. Until we remembered we had to park. It's not that this hotel was so much worse for parking than any other in Union Square, but the...

From the check-in hospitality (11:30 am room availability on a Saturday) to the final lunch in front of the lobby fireplace, the JW Marriott outdid itself. Cordial front desk, bellmen, concierge and housekeepers, tasty food, free laundering of gym clothes, complimentary use of the hotel town car, and super fast response to requests for robes, ice and so forth, made...

Many sites, many visits in San Francisco. Marriott is ideally located with a pro client attitude. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Housekeeping does an excellent job in quality and willingness to service guests. Highly recommended
