Nice staff but grey decor like the inside of a battleship. Must be an old hotel redone. Uncomfortable room chairs. Light plugs are old. No UBS plugs. Slow internet. Would not stay again. Wine bar but system was not working. Even rooms face a boring courtyard. Charge for breakfast. Guess I am a snob.

We had a nice stay here, room was spacious, bed comfy, very helpful front desk & Centrally located. The cons were , I left an Expensive iron in the room & called 3 X s about it & They said no one found it, so was very disappointed . The other thing is the lighting is very weird .

Over our 5 weeks away thru 4 countries and 10 cities, we rate this the best overall hotel of our stay... We stayed in the Club rooms, which gave us access to the Club Dining Room for free afternoon drinks an snacks... and also where we had breaky.... Lupe looked after us very well... From the Staff to the quality...

Room was very clean and tidy. beds were so comfy, I slept like a baby all night! Debra at the Concierge desk was very friendly and helpful. She needs a pay rise! Location was a little far away for our first time in San Francisco but once you work out the transport system, you will be right.

Pier 2620 is a modern design hotel, yet very easy to stay at, comfortable. Just off the Fisherman's Warf area, within walking distance to many sites in San Francisco, be careful walking to places, hills in San Francisco can be challenging. Hotel staff is very accommodating and the in house breakfast good. Charge for parking the car, which in most...

I stayed at the Pier 2620 hotel during a short stay in San Francisco. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to travel to San Francisco. The hotel is in a great location just a few short blocks to Fisherman’s Wharf and we found that it was priced better than some of the other options we were looking...

Really nice hotel, interesting decor, very industrial...but I like it... could use more or brighter lights. I was on the 1st floor, however, these rooms are on the patio level so couldn't open the shades or windows... I would ask for a higher floor if that matters to you. The location is wonderful, and the staff is great!

We really liked this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. Great place to stay with kids. The hotel doesn't offer the best food options, but luckily you are very close to plenty of restaurants.

Loved the location, bed was comfy but the stained couch was GROSS. Staff was friendly but save your money when including breakfast. The choice was very limited and what was there not worth the extra cost.

We were placed on a very busy street 1st floor. We could here street cleaners, motorcycles even skateboarders. Poor night sleep for everyone! Could hear even someone dropping things on the floor above us.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the intersection of historic North Beach and world-renowned Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 2620 Hotel is the ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking a break from the ordinary. Because we believe your San Francisco experience shouldn't have to end when you walk into your hotel. We call it "urban sleek," our guests describe it as "industrial chic," "hip nautical," and simply "one of the coolest rooms I've ever stayed in." We're unlike anything else you'll find in Fisherman's Wharf, which is exactly how we like it. Renovated in late 2015, the largest standard guestrooms in the area feature a meticulously curated waterfront-themed décor, with high-end custom finishes. All rooms include: Serta Platinum Suite II mattresses, 55" flat screen TVs with media hubs, complimentary WiFi, eco-friendly bath amenities, in-room safes, mini-fridges and coffee makers. Onsite parking, access to a VIP Club Lounge and 24-hour fitness center are just the start of what makes Pier 2620 Hotel the perfect home away from home. Pier 2620 Hotel's prime location and variety of transportation options provides travelers with easy access to a variety of areas for work and play, including: Moscone Center, Fort Mason, Union Square, SOMA, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Cable Cars, Ghirardelli Square, Little Italy, Chinatown and the Embarcadero. ... more   less
