My family stayed there while it was being remodeled. That was distracting to the experience. The rooms are small and that I don't think that is changing. We had a suite and the configuration of the room made it seem like it was a total after thought. You could not open the front front door with out the closet door...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on Tripadvisor. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful view from the Regency Club Lounge and you are happy with the service provided by our staff. However, we do apologize for the inconvenience caused due to our renovation. It is disappointed our accommodations did not meet...

We stayed at this hotel because the team stayed here. Hotel was better than expected, but room service was limited and closed too early, no restaurant due to renovations, elevators were agonizing slow, rooms were cold despite cranking up the heating

The Hyatt Regency in San Francisco is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is great, especially if you are not familiar with San Francisco. There is access to all types of public transport and great walking right outside the door. I've read some complaints about the noise (it did not bother me)...

This hotel is located in an ideal location across from the Ferry Bldg. Easy access to the Embarcadero promenade and all its restaurants. Short walk to the the heart of the downtown shopping district. If you are driving, convenient access to major freeways. Some rooms have terrific views of the SF bay and the Bay Bridge.

We had the opportunity to stay at this property for one night in December. The stay is probably subpar for the Hyatt brand - I have stayed at Hyatt House and Hyatt Place hotels that far exceed the comfort and service at this property. I believe the greatest property that this hotel has is it is beginning to show a...

Lots of construction, very limited food options on site. Breakfast good but expensive -$30 per person. Shower handle would not stay up would fall to either all cold or all hot water so you had to hold it to maintain a comfortable shower. Sheets stained when we arrived but they were quick to change upon request. Nice work out facility....

My husband and I are staying in this hotel right now for our second night and we are from Seattle. Nice room with balcony nice view of the bay. The trouble is the bed has only one very thin blanket and it's very cold outside and not too warm in the room. The heater has a limit of 80, no...

We stayed at this hotel last year exactly around this time. It was horrible and I wrote my review on TripAdvisor as well as reported it to one of their manager. You can see my comments on TripAdvisor. I am a Hyatt Gold member since I travel a lot and stay at Hyatt or Marriott often. Hyatt customer service reached...

We are currently staying here for 3 nights in room 510 on our way back to the UK after a holiday in New Zealand. The hotel is huge and very futuristic, incorporating the sleeping "anthill" concept of a hotel into the design, with open plan floors grouped round a massive atrium. The main restaurant is currently closed with works going...

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
