Stayed here for a conference. It's a large hotel but a great experience. Staff was courteous and helpful. The bed was amaaaaazingly comfortable and the room was immaculate. My only complaint is that the room service menu is limited and offers only options available in their market (vs the restaurant) which left me wondering how fresh they were (because sandwiches...

Recently stayed with my son for a quick trip to sf. Rooms were nice size. Location was great at embarcadero nice walk to fishermans wharf or if you want to take the electric bus. It was very convenient-- walkable to Chinatown. Casual dining but so many restaurants in walking distance from the hotel rooms a big and roomy. Housekeeping was...

Perhaps I'm spoiled by the competition, but the one reason I would return to the Embarcadero property is the civilized location. Opposed to the Union Square and even Soma properties, I found myself breathing easier and I didn't rush my dog to do her thing so we could get back up "up" to the views. I kept thinking about my...

I was charged valet fee when I got the room with valet (park and play package). I checker in at 12pm and room was not ready until 4pm. Didn't get any of my request. Another then that, is a nice great location.

We live in the area and have been visiting the Hyatt Reg, due to it's great location, since it's beginning. The last time we strolled through the lobby we noticed the place had been living on it's former glory. Circumstances had us there again and we were pleasantly surprised to see an updated grand lobby and rooms. We LOVED the...

Just got back from a wonderful SF weekend. First time staying in the Embarcadero area and we loved it. This hotel is across from Ferry Building with beautiful views and great walking along Bay...whats there not to like! Just an Uber ride from everything. Room was spacious and hotel lobby was gorgeous. We didn't eat at hotel so can't comment...

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
