Relieved to arrive here after walking out of a boutique hotel at edge of Tenderloin. Excellent service from Ernie at late night check-in and throughout stay. 10 min walk to Ferry Building, Market St offices, SF MoMA. Reasonable price for comfortable room & great view from 21st Fl.
Location, location, location!! This hotel is located in the central of Financial District, close to Chinatown and Little Italy and short walk to Embarcadero or Montgomery Bart station. If you take Columbus all the way down, you will end up near Fisherman's wharf and Pier 39. Lots of great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Hotel itself is a Hilton standard, nice rooms, comfy beds and big bathrooms. We had big windows overlooking the bay which was very enjoyable. Free WIFI but no breakfast. Prices are not too high for California. Will come back!
What an absolute treat, the staff here are very professional while still remaining extremely courteous. Mike who checked us in was the best a phenomenal experience over all and we will be back! Also, a huge plus the rooms have Netflix!
I have stayed at this property 20 plus nights in the last year all for pleasure. It has become, by far, our favorite hotel in the city. Service- top notch! You can quickly see that these employees are happy to be working there. They smile, welcome you, make every attempt to make your stay memorable. Andre (Carlos) is just outstanding. He is the type of employee that has his head up, greeting guests, remembers peoples names, welcomes us back like we are part of the Hilton family. Andre is top notch ! Last week we checked in and met Tamela who is just amazing. Her electric smile, high energy while being ultra professional is a breath of fresh air amongst customer service. I am glad we now have another friend at the Hilton FiDi Location- we mainly stay to go to giants games. The location is perfect. Walk to Oracle Park, North Beach, China Town, Union Square, Market Street, it’s very center and close to everything including transportation. The only criticism I would give this property is that their restaurant is still not open since Covid. I think by know Hilton could figure out how to open their in house dinning. Again- great property! Get an odd number room if you can (bay view) and if your a diamond member, they are pretty good about upgrading. Get a room on the 27th and enjoy a balcony with breathtaking views of the city. Thanks Andre and Tamela for making our stay so memorable. See ya in a few weeks! We are customers for life because of the staff.…
The staff could be friendlier .The hotel was great.Good location. Some of the facilities were closed but they had a wine bar and other food items available.I would definitely go back.Housekeeping was great and the young lady who checked us in was informative and very welcoming.
No maid service No valet No bellman when you pull up to hotel No restaurant No conceirge Front desk busy and unfriendly Rooms haven’t been updated in years. Stayed here several times on business precovid. Other than those, great hotel.
the front desk guy, "danny" was having a bad day or something. I checked in, got a room next to an elevator so came back immediately asking if another room was available". that set-off danny who ended up screaming at me about policies and i ended up leaving without even having gotten a room key. Ended up having to find a room at the Hyatt Regency. The Director of Rooms. A. Florez refused to refund the room.
This was a pretty good room and the staff were very nice. At night when I came back from Game 1 at chase center, my neighbors were blasting music and screaming and I could not get good sleep. I complained and Hilton said “We can’t do anything to fix that”, but Hilton should do something to fix that, because I have had similar experiences at other Hiltons.
I was in need of a hotel for a night and found the Hilton San Francisco Financial District to be a quick and easy hotel to book. I checked in late at night with no problem, it was quiet through the entire hotel. My room was nice and windows faced the ocean and city for a nice view. The bathroom and room were both very clean. The bed was comfortable and what I expect for a Hilton-brand hotel. The a/c was functioning well, which was nice because it was a warmer night in San Francisco, which is pretty unusual. Check out was just as easy as check-in and the location of the hotel next to the FiDi, Chinatown, and Union Square makes it great to just pack up and go. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
Excellent service. Food great. Friendly people. Rooms clean. Surrounding area are very safe and very clean. Good are cheap. Staff are very well service oriented. Pool area are big with lots of deck chairs. All area are saanitisee after every time after used
