Took the Larkspur ferry into the city for my holiday party and was excited to find a Bayview room available at the last minute! JaVonne Hatfield greeted us in grand style and made us feel at home. Thanks!!

This hotel has all the qualities of a boutique hotel one would love: attentive staff, cozy foyer, private, comfortable rooms, and valet parking. It also has the qualities of a big-city hotel: informative concierge, proximity to waterfront, fabulous dining, and easily accessible.

This hotel met my minimal needs at a bargain rate. Basically, I was staying overnight in San Francisco, catching an Amtrak bus from the Temporary Transbay Bus Terminal to the Amtrak Station in Emeryville, where I would board the California Zephyr. The bus station is 2 blocks from Harbor Court. i flew into SFO and took BART into the city--the...

Really unmatched in Location! Great Hotel and ideal place to wake up and run right next to the ocean bay:) Rooms are fine for the amount you pay, and the Staff really aim to please. There is a Sushi restaurant attached right to the hotel. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Slight glitches with the TV Volume and slightly smaller...

The location of the hotel is excellent, between the financial district and the Embarcadero area. Service at the hotel was really helpful and friendly. Having said that, the rooms themselves were small and dated, with lesser quality fixtures and amenties for the price paid (about USD 420 per night, including taxes). The public areas too were dark and dated. Some...

Harbor Court is far from the most lavish, most this, most that, etc. But it's really nice, people are very friendly, it's in a good location, great freebies, and it has a wonderful, amazing view of the Bay Bridge (you could watch the lights on the bridge for hours). They have a wine and saki happy hour that is well...

Stayed in SF many, many times but had not before now considered this area (around the Embarcadero). Very glad I did! Not only is the hotel quite lovely, with an inviting lobby (which I don't often say) but the room was comfortable, the wifi good, and the location superior. The address is on Steuart St, but the lobby opens onto...

Love the place. Lovely room. Great color & simple well done decoration. The Bay view if extraordinary. There is no restaurant nor bar but so well surrounded, there is no need. Best place in town which I highly recommend.

Thank you for choosing to stay with the Harbor Court Hotel. It's great that you enjoyed your stay in one of our view rooms. If you ever find yourself back at our hotel please check out Ozumo restaurant and bar, which has an entrance in our lobby. They have a wonderful menu and provide our guest with awesome room service!

The Harbor Court is the reason we depend on TA reviews. It is a bit off the beaten path (not near Union Square) but it's actually in a great location to access the waterfront. We only stayed one night as we were booked in Union Square for a wedding for the remainder of our trip. The pricing reflects that the...

We go to SF often and have stayed in every level of hotel. Our favorites are the Grand Hyatt on Market and Harbor Court Hotel. We find ourselves staying more and more at the Harbor Court simply because it is so charming and we are treated like guests, not just a nameless person occupying a room. Rebecca arranged for their...

Thank you so much for sharing with everyone all the wonderful amenities about our hotel you had the opportunity to enjoy, from our location, our wine hour, and all the wonderful restaurants in the area, but the thing that brings the biggest smile to my face is hearing you share "The staff at this hotel had to be the friendliest...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
