We loved this little boutique hotel in a historic brick building. I don't understand why anyone would give this place a bad review, the place has character! The rooms are small, just as you would expect from any historic hotel in the city, but the beds are super comfy, the views are amazing, and though small, the rooms are super...

Grade A example of a hotel going above and beyond for their guests. Granted I got a killer deal through a 3rd party booking site, but when I mentioned it was mine and my girlfriends anniversary, they greeted us extremely warmly. The lobby was hip and small, they do wine happy hours every weekend. We arrived in our bay view...

Our room was not booked directly with the hotel and we were told that because of this we were allocated standard double wich was tiny, no room to open our suitcases etc and the AC units were very noisy. It looked out onto a wall less than 1 meter from the window so very dark and dismal. We stayed on...

dated, old carpets, small rooms, noisy wall unit AC, smells in the room from the kitchen coming in the through the ventilation, dark rooms really high priced due to a conference, stay away from it, there are better options

Contrary to the title of Thomas Wolfe’s novel, you can go home again. In April 2016, we stayed at Harbor Court and wrote a review of this memorable hotel. Details about the hotel property are in that review that was posted May 4. In the last line we stated that we would call Harbor Court our home when we returned...

As has been mentioned before the rooms here are tiny, we though that this wouldn't be an issue but we were very wrong. There is no room to put luggage and with two of us in the room we were contantly climbing over our cases. There is no room to open the bathroom door which meant that it had to...

We had a great deal from a last-minute discount site. Some of the reviewers have commented on the small rooms but we’ve had smaller in Europe. It’s funny how some hotels recently have updated their rooms but end up with bathrooms that are almost as big as the bedroom, which is a funny use of space. The bedroom definitely wasn’t...

The staff is so friendly and helpful. We were automatically upgraded to a water view room. Really special because the Bay Bridge was lit up all night with beautiful designs, a new tradition for the season. The room was very comfortable and I loved the view. The lobby is charming and easy to relax in. The hotel is very clean...

My Daughter and I splurged on a bay view room at the Harbor Court Hotel on New Years Eve to watch the fireworks show over San Francisco Bay. To say this was a once in a lifetime experience is an understatement! The hotel is very nice and everything I expected it to be! The building is a remodeled 1926 YMCA!...

This review is a bit overdue. We stayed at the Harbor Court Hotel in early November. Everything about this stay from getting the reservation, valet parking, nearby restaurant options and the incredibly welcoming and helpful staff (GM Todd and front desk Safer) was top notch! These things alone should put Harbor Court at the top of any discerning traveller's list...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
