Great location. Rooms are small. Common areas are a bit old. Bathrooms lack comfort for the price. Expensive for the quality. I have stayed in other hyatts which are not even grand hyatt with much better room and bathroom quality for less.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

If you're going to SFO for a few days of applied tourism, you'll know there's a bewildering number of accommodation options. Rather than go for the low-rise eclectic options down near wharves, we opted for the Grand Hilton near Union Square. This is a nice hotel, as you would expect. The distinguishing features I would mention are a take-away coffee...

Thank you for your review. We are delighted had a lovely time at Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Sounds like you had a fun time exploring the neighborhood and the activities nearby. The view from the higher floor is certainly one of the best in the city and we are so glad you enjoyed it. We hope you'll come back and...

From check in/out to the concierge, the staff here were amazing. We requested a bay view room and were on the 24th floor. Great views, nice room. Typical hotel pillows and not enough of them. My main issue, which I did read in other reviews, is the water pressure. It's non existent. We were here as a family vacation, so...

New management at this hotel is banking on their location and the quick turnaround of guests. If you expect your Hyatt loyalty to be recognized walk over to the Hyatt at fishermans wharf where they will recognize your status. The Grand Hyatt is by far the worst service I have ever received in the system.

I'd pick this hotel over Marriott or Hilton for its location if I'd like to do some shoppings after work. It's right at Union Square and the shops and restaurants there close late, comparing to the ones at Moscone Center or Embarcadero. The hotel is chic comparing to its neighbor, Westin. I like the apartment feel of the floor layout...

I booked two rooms, a king executive suite and a regular king room at this hotel. When we checked in and went to our rooms, one of the rooms was a double room rather than a king room. Instead of correcting the room situation, the hotel comped us breakfast for two. This is ok, however, I don't understand why we...

I have stayed in many Hyatt hotels, from the boutique Andaz to the hi-end Park Hyatt, down the line like Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Centric. This Grand Hyatt does not really have what I expected from a Grand Hyatt. The price sure looks like it is from Grand Hyatt . Having said that, the location is really great, only half a...

We stayed in a Deluxe Room and the room was a good size and had all the amenities, except of course a kettle! There was a coffee machine however. As this is an issue in most US hotels, whenever we travel to the US we carry our travel kettle with us! On check in we upgraded to the Grand Club,...
