The answer to the question is wholly dependent upon the type of room, i.e., a suite--409 for example--has a wonderful walk in shower, replete with all of the "stuff" needed for a shower after a hard day of doing things you love to do when staying at this oasis. Other rooms--we've stayed in several both before and after the remodeling--do not have walk in showers. Ergo, if the need for a walk in shower is the decisive driver, merely ask the front desk when booking to find you a room of your dreams.

I suggest you contact the Drisco about questions #1, #2 and #4. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood, but I am not sure what you consider walking distance. FYI we found the wine tasting very nice and the room service was very reasonable. We loved the suite. With regard to the baby seat, you should contact Uber and Lyft, but the Drisco also provides a limo service.

Hi, we offer chauffeur service every weekday morning from 7am to 10am to Union Square, the Financial District and the Presidio. Unfortunately Pier 33 is not one of our destinations, but we can take you downtown and you can take a walk or a short rideshare from there.
