We stayed for 2 nights after a night on the northern side of the city.
It was a very different set up, area was a little unsettling at night. Although location made it easy for us to travel around.
Rooms were clean, stocked, and large....More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
Hi there. This hotel has a parking but unfortunately it is not free.
Some off street parking is possible next door, but obviously less safe even if the area doesn't look unsafe to me. For sure you will enjoy the place.

Hello Julia! There are several transportation options to get from SFO. Our recommended option would be a shared shuttle from Go Lorries Airport Shuttle. It costs approximately $17 per person and will drop you off right at the hotel. You can make your reservations online. Other options would include taking BART (subway system) which is $8.65 per person. There is a station right at SFO which will take you to Civic Center, and it's about a 5-minute walk. Lastly, you can always take a taxi but it tends to be the most cost prohibitive at approximately $50+ one way. Safe travels!
