I stayed two nights at the Beresford while in town for a conference at the Moscone Center--about a 20 minute walk away. Staff greeted me warmly at check-in and upgraded me to a suite, which was huge. It contained a bedroom with two queen-size beds, a living room with a couch, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The kitchen cabinets and...

This hotel is one of a kind. Located very close to Union Square but still far enough to get a better price than a lot of other places. The victorian interior makes you feel like you stepped in to a mansion of old glory. Rooms are a bit worn down but clean and very spacious! Although you should bring earplugs...

My GF and I stayed here for 4 nights in February in room 416. Finding the hotel was very easy, it sits right on the corner of Post. The lobby was just like the pictures; historical and quaint. There is a lot of seats to relax and read or look out the window at the world. Check in was fairly...

Stayed one night for a quick business trip. The hotel seemed like it had been an apartment building at some point. My room had a small full kitchen, an entire living room with murphy bed, a big bathroom, and a big separate bedroom. I didn't request a suite, so maybe all the rooms are like that? The room was pretty...

The hotel is in need of some maintenance. It reminded us of an English provincial hotel circa 1970! Nevertheless, the main attraction of this hotel is its location close to Union Square and its price. In addition, its charges for parking are reasonable given the average price charged for this service by other hotels. The downside is that you have...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 night while in San Francisco. Was very nicely appointed. The elevator was a bit slow but there is an amazing staircase if you don't mind the hike. As other reviews have mentioned it is an older hotel but I think that ads to the character of it.

Spent four nights here as a base for San Francisco. The room was a good size with a small kitchen. The staff were friendly and generous with the wine at the free wine and cheese each late afternoon in the lobby. It was a great way to mix with the other residents- would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is OOOLLLDD. It's a little frightening here and there. The lobby seats are probably from the early 1900s the hallways are nice but the carpets and walls looks like they hide something underneath. The rooms are nice and spacious. The bathroom is newly decorated-european style. The bellboy was SUUUPPEERRR nice though the front desk guys are not very...

Stayed here for three nights whilst in SF, we found the hotel a little dated and tired looking but this added to it's character, however it was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate and the wine & cheese afternoons a nice touch, a most enjoyable stay. Ideally situated for Union Square and...

We spent 4 days in this hotel. The decor and rooms are a little dated. But the staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed just before Christmas and were invited to the staff Christmas party. Santa even had gifts for the kids! It was so unexpected but great fun for our kids as we were travelling over the holiday...
